Short answer...no. I mean he would get the job as interim but he shouldn't be on anyone's radar as a fulltime HC imo
I tend to agree with kris_kapsner in that if he goes 6-6-2 he stays. Maybe even 4-8-2. I mean they are actually building something finally
Do we think Haley would step up IF Jackson gets fired?

If you can see that a branch of your company that has easily been the worst performing branch for some time now has absolutely horrible leadership, and then that branch gets some really hard working/good/productive employees transferred over and moves from absolutely embarrassing production to simply marginally improved, still well below the company standard...is it right to keep the leadership in place?

That is pretty incredible. I'm hoping they fire Hue just to bring in Mike McCoy. Gotta keep the Browns Browning.Valhalla wrote: ↑Tue Oct 23, 2018 12:15 pm The amazing thing is...Hue has accumulated so many losses for the Browns that...by losing the next three, his winning percentage only drops from 7.6% to 7.15%.
Abysmally bad winning percentage. Even more astonishing that it's gone on long enough that it is hardly affected by another handful of losses.
He can win the next nine straight though and bring his average to four wins a season...so he's got that going for him.

This is a league that just had a Joe Mixon vs Tyreek Hill primetime game where the announcers spent half the game praising them. Tyreek Hill beat his pregnant girlfriend a few short years ago but you think something that happened a decade ago is really concerning the nfl? Bountygate is dead at this point. Williams probably won't be a head coach because he wasn't a good head coach when he had the chance with the Bills 15 years ago.
He was a DC when bountygate occurred and he's a DC now. It's not as if he was a HC and now can't be because of bountygate.
Gregg Williams was in his 50s and had been coaching in the NFL for 19 years when he placed bounties on players’ heads.

Ha, this could be very interesting to see who comes over to HC next year. I would assume the Browns won't be considered a career killer for an incoming coach, or at least not as bad a spot as usual.
