2020 NFL draft prospects

Postby DJB » Sun Oct 21, 2018 4:10 pm

Too early? Probably, but there are some posters that will enjoy this discussion.

Was able to nab an extra first in this potential deep draft hence my increased interest for this draft.

Looks much deeper at RB compared to 2019.

Thoughts?

Taylor looks good. Some of the other guys like the Georgia backs, I need to see more. As I said on the other thread, Akers and Dobbins have taken a big step back this year. Dobbins I am still intrigued by though. It's so far away that I just cant get too high or low on this class yet.

Typically NFL draft classes cycle on three year intervals, for whatever reason.
2008-Ryan, CJ2K, DMC, Jstew and a lot of other hyped guys that busted hard
2011-Julio, AJG, Cam, Ingram
2014- OBJ, Evans, Watkins, Cooks, Hyde, there;s a lot here i'm just gonna end it
2017- too many names to list
This is the main reason why I like it lol

That kid who's name I am too drunk to think of at Colorado, Shenault? looks good. He looks a bit like Kevin White, though, which is bad. LOL. It's RB heavy, this coming year is WR heavy, buy my boy David Montgomery will show everybody! LOL

I think there are good WR's in 2020 too: Jerry Jeudy, Tee Higgins, Laviska Shenault. I really, really like Jerry Jeudy.

RB wise:

Jonathan Taylor
Travis Etienne
JK Dobbins (needs to bounce back)
Najee Harris (needs a larger role)
Cam Akers (needs to bounce back)
Rodney Anderson (might return for his senior year after suffering a knee injury)

I'm probably forgetting some names, but 2020 overall should be a deeper group than 2019.

Rodney Anderson is glass, a worse version of Ryan Mathews. Looks like him when he plays, and his injury history is a mile long. I would not touch him at this point.
