Week VII Discussion Thread
Haven't seen anything yet for Week 7, so want to get the ball rolling.
Week 7 begins with a real barn-burner on TNF, with Denver at Arizona. Actually, from the dynasty perspective, this game will have a lot of interesting rookie story lines. There are probably more productive rookie starters in this game (at skill positions) than in any other game. Courtland Sutton, Phillip Lindsay, Royce Freeman, Christian Kirk, Rosen, etc.
Lotta good match-ups on Sunday, and likely some fireworks on MNF when the NYG face Atlanta. I bet a lot of fantasy outcomes will be pending until the clock strikes 0:00 in that game. NYG and Atlanta both have defense that are a hot mess, so expect lots of points both on the real scoreboard and the fantasy ones.

Re: Week VII Discussion Thread
I guess I will start off the questions for the game tonight....
Is this the week Case Keenum gets benched?
Is this the week one of these awful coaches (Wilks, Mccoy, Joseph) gets fired?
Is this the week the Cardinals decide to utilize David Johnson to his actual potential?
Has David Johnson been f*cking Mike Mccoy's wife?
No, perhaps his mother then?
Find out next time on Dragonball Z!
Jokes aside I think the loser of this game tonight will be seeing heads roll as a result. If the Broncos lose I think we see Chad Kelly, and possibly a move from Vance Joseph shortly.
Similar storylines on the otherside, if the Cardinals can't run on Denver I think we see Mccoy or Wilks on the outs.
My money is on Denver winning but I think both teams will look like absolute bleep.

Philly's corners were also getting torched leading up to the NYG game and Eli crapped the bed. Maybe he finds some success since ATL is throwing out 4th stringers with all the injuriesCult of Dionysus wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 10:23 am NYG and Atlanta both have defense that are a hot mess, so expect lots of points both on the real scoreboard and the fantasy ones.

Denver's defense made history last week! They became the first since 197-something to allow at least 270 rushing yards in two consecutive weeks.
So if David Johnson doesn't go off tonight, I lose all hope.

Finally a nationally televised audience can see how poorly Mike McCoy is using David Johnson. Should be fun.
Re: Week VII Discussion Thread
I hope Arizona beats Denver and Keenum continues to prove he is not the long-term answer at QB. Have no issue with him like a Ryan Fitzpatrick / Blaine Gabbert / Josh McCown as a journeyman / short term fit.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Eli shat the bead against NO, too. I started him banking on facing that big-playing-giving defense, but nope!Servo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 1:01 pmPhilly's corners were also getting torched leading up to the NYG game and Eli crapped the bed. Re: Week VII Discussion Thread
I highly doubt the Cards fire Wilks after 1 season. Same with McCoy, even though I agree he is trash. But nobody had high expectations for the Cards offense this year, if they did then they were foolish...0LDMAN wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 12:53 pm I guess I will start off the questions for the game tonight....

No chance the Cards fire Wilks less than halfway through year one. Doubt the Broncos would mid-season either, very rare move in the NFL.0LDMAN wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 12:53 pm I guess I will start off the questions for the game tonight....

I didn't see the 1st pick 6 but man that was a terrible decision by Rosen... Fitz was wide open for the 1st down.
Maybe a poorer decision by the coach, 3rd and 1 with DJ and you pass. Yikes
