And I agree it is a component and my comment is basically saying that the words have no actual meaning but get thrown about as though they do.Mjvb5 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 16, 2018 1:42 pmI used it as a reason for why he has low value, I'm with in that skill and savy is what matters, but we know that a lot of us, myself included, have a tendency to fall in love with the sexyness of a Kevin White, Parker, or Perriman
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
Re: Adam Thielen
Except Thielen is like 1000 times better
Re: Adam Thielen
I said it in the other Thielen thread and I will say it again.
Thielen is an excellent example that hard work and dedication can go a long way.

Re: Adam Thielen
Impossible, UDFA WRs never amount to anything regardless of what they demonstrate on an NFL field according to some posters here .....they couldn't be wrong could they???
Re: Adam Thielen
I certainly was wrong about him. I wish I had him now. Have to pay a lot

For me, it's because he's white.

I thought there’d be more tongue in cheek responses about his ethnicity.

Re: Adam Thielen
Perfect example of an ‘Eric Decker All-Star’. I simply think that people STILL don’t believe this is actually happening. I certainly thought he would take a backseat as Diggs broke out this year. Last week was an anomaly as PPeterson was covering Diggs (only 3 receptions), but Thielen’s been a stud this year. All the better that he’s a Minnesotan... my wife saw him at a wedding this summer for a cousin.
Something else against him is that he doesn’t have one ‘defining trait’. AB has his route running. Hopkins his aggressiveness. Julio his size and speed. OBJ his suddenness and quickness. If pressed, what would you say it is for Thielen? It is most likely his route running, but he doesn’t have prototypical size and flash and therefore isn’t viewed as a top guy, even though he is the WR1 in fantasy so far this year.

Re: Adam Thielen
Take advantage if you find an owner that thinks he fits in that range. Trade a bigger name guy for Thielen that isn't performing at that level and move on. I have him in a keeper league and he is my WR1 and the WR1 in that league at the moment. I treat him as such and he will be my WR1 next year barring any injuries.

I'd say his 'defining trait' is his hands. Some of the catches he's made this year are phenomenal.Shcritters wrote: ↑Wed Oct 17, 2018 4:29 pm Perfect example of an ‘Eric Decker All-Star’. Just curious if Thielen is the alpha dog over Diggs, why is Diggs drawing the top coverage? Legit question.
