PPR RBs for Win Now Teams

Postby abajaba » Tue Oct 16, 2018 8:54 am

I'm having RB problems for my team in sig, start 3 PPR. Mckinnon out, Fournette hurt, Dion Lewis stinks right now. I have no 2019 1st or 2nd. I do have my '19 3rd & 4th along with all my 2020 rookie picks. Who would you be willing to get for a 2020 1st or 2nd to start at RB in PPR for the rest of the season? I can get Yeldon for a 2020 1st but I'm afraid that's too much. Some ideas below:

Breida
Cohen
Collins
Yeldon
8 Team PPR Year 8: 2/3/4/1/DEF
2016 & 2018 Champion
QB-Rivers,Cousins,Eli,Tannehill
RB-Gurley,Fournette,Connor,Bell,McKinnon,Dion Lewis,Ballage,Yeldon,Doug Martin
WR-Evans,Nuk,Cooks,Diggs,ARob,Woods,John Brown,Doctson,Boyd,Ross,
TE-Kittle,Graham,Doyle

Rookie Picks: '19 - 3.8/4.8; '20 - 2nd/4th

Cohen and Breida are my favorites there, but I wouldn't give a 1st for either.
Jalen Richard is a decent cheaper option, especially with the news Lynch may miss time.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

What about Buck or Ekeler? Currently top 20 in PPR. I'd say Theo but he has been absent this season

No players you can deal? James White seems like an obvious buy for a contender looking for RB help.

If I needed an RB, I would NOT move a 2020 1st for a stopgap RB. 2020 looks like a very strong RB class

Best cheap stop gap RBs,
Ekeler, Buck allen, James White
All would be cheaper than the listed option as they are viewed as backups whereas most of those guys owners will view them as committe or starters

I'd be willing to part with either Tyler Boyd or John Ross for James White. I can't figure out his value though

whats your record? if I were you I would wait it out. you have Gurley and Connor/Bell. Those 2 guys combined are probably outscoring most of your opponents starting 3 running backs on their own. Your receivers are strong. If you are winning now I would wait it out until fournette comes back or one of your other backs starts producing
