Official 2018 NFL trade rumors thread

Thought it would be nice to get a thread started for all of the trade rumors that are starting to pop up. So far we have:

McCoy back to the Eagles
Jordan Howard as a possibility for the Eagles
Mark Ingram possibly on the block

Those are the main ones I have seen so far.

Jordan Howard as a possibility for the Eagles - Sure
Mark Ingram possibly on the block - NOOO. I have not seen this one yet, at least not by anyone credible but would much rather have him stay with the Saints.

Those are the main ones I have seen so far.

Only thing I read on this is Mark Clayton saying if the eagles don't acquire McCoy they "may be interested" in going after Jordan Howard. How is this a trade rumor?

I think all three of these are more "this would be an interesting trade and a decent fit" and less "these teams are actually looking into the possibility." Sadly, we're not the NBA.

I wasn't complaining either. But I think there is a marked difference between rumor (team A has reached out to team B, team C may be trying to trade so and so, etc) and little more than a passing thought in the mind of some radio host or beat writer. it's not only irresponsible on the part of John Clayton to make something like that up, but on every other entity that picked up and reported the so-called story.

I hear you. I was more so coupling it with all of the preseason talk that surrounded Howard as well as declining involvement this year to give the rumor some legs in my mind.
