He's a talented back. I think this is wrong. Fournette could excel in another system, where the box isn't constantly stacked. Half the league would be interested in him a their workhorse back.

I'd say it's pretty stubborn to still think he is talented after consecutive seasons of piss-poor efficiency and elusiveness. He'll be facing stacked boxes in almost every situation because teams know he isn't a threat as a receiver. Yeldon has been better than him. I really can't envision a scenario where a team trades for him and immediately installs him as their feature back. He doesn't fit in the modern NFL.

I dislike LF, but not because he can't catch or because he's not efficient. I hate his situation and injuries. The talent is there and if I owned him anywhere I'd be excited about today's news.

I don't get the guy lumping him in with Rice and Hunt... He did not do anything to that extent. He was inactive and had to watch a meaningless Jags game lol I'd have probably been disinterested as well.

Not a great look to be getting cut, but then again JAX isn't really a world class organization... Talent management has never been key there. LF will have manyy teams lining up to give him a shot. Could you imagine if he was the downhill runner in Baltimore or possibly Indy? Maybe KC isn't a possibility, but my point is that anywhere is better than a team that proudly trots Bottles out as their starting QB

Fournette will never live up to his draft status. He is an above average back, but he is not special. When you couple that with injury and attitude issues, it is hard to see another team valuing him too much. He will land somewhere, but has lost himself a lot of money.

They will have essentially run Allen Robinson and Fournette out of town, opting instead to keep Blake Bortles.

I think this is a good buy window. Injuries are a concern for any high usage RB. And, he produced like an RB1 in a mediocre or worse offense.

This sort of came out of left field for me - but honestly I am not surprised - the Jaguars are definitely one of those franchises that takes 1-2 steps back every time they try to take a step forward.

Strange that these attitude concerns only crop up now that the Jaguars want to void his contract ....
