David Johnson - Code Red Panic? - Traded to Houston
Re: David Johnson
Cardinals management really blew it. This is a garbage team. At least McCoy will probably be fired during halftime.
Re: David Johnson
Would anyone trade Keenan Allen for D.J?

Re: David Johnson
No. Things change quickly. DJ is not an elite Dynasty asset at this point. That offense is a dumpster fire and it's not going to change anytime soon.

Re: David Johnson
I don't see anything changing until that coaching staff is fired. That's going to be a bare minimum 2 years. No way they fire him after only 1 year with a rookie QB. So 2 years from now DJ may end up with a more creative coaching staff and may end up with a better Oline, and may end up with a better, more experienced Rosen, and may...the list goes on.
Expect these numbers from DJ for at least this year and next. After that, who knows. There's also the fact that he'll be 2 years older.
I'm shopping DJ to see if he still has that elite value attached to his name. If not and you need him to win, then keep him. He's a bit TD dependent, but he could help you win this year

Re: David Johnson
I doubt Wilkes has much say in what the offense does. Replacing McCoy might be enough. He has a nice history of sucking. The line is an issue and Rosen is young, but that offense has a couple play makers. It should be able to move. Right?

Re: David Johnson
Rosen has looked really bad this year. The OL isn't good, but he's a statue back there.

Re: David Johnson
I played against DJ this week. Very happy with him only doing 10 ppr points against
My team 1 is weak at rb and has wrs to spare. I'll likely try to buy a little low here now. Would you trade juju and a 2nd for DJ if he would accept that?

Re: David Johnson
No way. Juju is a top 20 dynasty asset at this point in my eyes. Maybe higher. Not many 21 year olds have produced at his level
Re: David Johnson
McCoy isn’t going to last long, I don’t care what anyone says. Two years before change? Franchises aren’t that patient, especially when they are playing as pathetic and inept as the Cardinals offense is. It will be sooner than later. You could feel it watching that game.
Will the change mean DJ of old? Can’t say, but it would be hard pressed to be worse.

Re: David Johnson
If Juju keeps up his pace he's a first round startup pick next year. Big IF, but he's worth more than DJ as of now IMO, and by more than a 2nd.grandmabetty wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 8:47 pm

Re: David Johnson
Mccoy is a complete garbage. His team have a rookie QB and comes to the game and throw a lot to start the game against a good defensive team against the pass. The broncos are atrocious against the run. That said no matter the way the Cardinals use Dj is sad really.
I play in an idp dynasty keeper league 10 teams with 1 qb start in a ppr league 2 en 2 wr 1te 1 flex. This is a roster of 35 players and a ts of 5 players in mfl and this is a ppr league

Re: David Johnson
If McCoy cannot get DJ going against the Denver run defense, I cannot imagine it ever happening this year. A completely wasted year for an extremely talented rb.....

Re: David Johnson
It's just too overwhelming. Rosen didn't get summer reps with the 1s, Mike Mccoy is running a high school level offense, and the offensive line might be worst in the league. Look at Gurley in '16, there's just nothing DJ can really do, especially since they seem content(insane?) to barely throw him the ball. Hopefully they fire Mccoy and bring in some O-Line help. DJ will only be 27 next season.
