Their problem is much bigger than the Qb position. Watch their games.

And.... To assume that a rookie Qb will just come in and show improvement over a vet like Bradford is ludicrous. I'm not saying that Bradford is an elite option. I'm not even saying that Rosen won't be good some day. I am saying though that what you posted above is drastically over simplified and simply incorrect.
I think almost any change at this point, is better than status quo.

I'm buying if i'm rebuilding, selling for a similarly priced RB1 if i'm a competing team and somebody will give a decent return.

This has shades of Gurley from 2016. His coaches stink, his QB situation stinks (no, Rosen will not be cure all whenever he eventually does start), his line stinks, and their defense is meh.

He'll probably stay in the back end RB1 conversation on volume alone, but we might see RB2 weeks more often than not until some major changes happen.

I think honestly, if you're buying DJ... you're buying for next year, and he'll be 27 going on 28. You could wait for his value to get even lower after this Bears game / once Rosen starts - because even gods own Rookie QB is not going to outright fix anything.

Sure the offense might move slightly better - but it's an offense featuring 0.5 good receivers and a top 3 bad offensive line. Rosen is going to get savaged. They're just not going to be in a position to score like that Palmer/Arians year.

And they still have another date with the Rams later this year :(

I've gotten some low offers for DJ and I'm holding.

The OC got a chewing out about how they are using him. I don't expect huge TD volume from him based on the rest of the offense. But, 10 is still easily attainable. And, it wouldn't surprise me if his receiving volume starts to skyrocket...even if the yardage doesn't pile up as fast as we'd like. Getting 8+ catches a game seems realistic based on the weapons the team has right now and how they should be trying to move the ball. So, we'll have to see. I still think he'll be a RB1 this year.

How many terrible OCs suddenly got better after getting chewed out? It's not like McCoy was ever a good OC in the first place.

DJ already got 9 targets in week 1, so his receiving volume isn't the biggest issue here. The issue is with where he's running his routes from and his team's inability to sustain drives. DJ was incredible in 2016 because he was lining up everywhere. He's not doing that anymore. And no lining up more from the slot isn't the same thing as out wide.

The Cardinals are simply not getting many offensive snaps due to how bad they are. That isn't an easy problem to fix and it could take years, including potentially replacing the coaching staff if it comes to that. With the entire team being limited on offensive snaps, that's obviously going to hurt DJ as well.

I sold him before week 1 because that offense scared me. Am I ever glad I did. I don't see things get much better any time soon

Yeah I saw the # of plays/game last night and it did not look pretty: https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/plays-per-game

They are wayyyyy below the rest of the league. I mean, as an extreme example, Big Ben alone is averaging more passes/game (50.5) than # of snaps for the entire Cardinals offense (47) lol. Not to mention James Conner also leads the league in touches/game (24.5).

Barkley is scoring points in a similar situation because he is getting 10+ catches a game for about 25 yards. BAD O line with quick pressure from the defense usually bodes well for pass catching RB's like Johnson. I expect his catches to go up.

The situation in Arizona is far worse than in NY. Arizona isn't getting many offensive snaps at all.

In a league where I own Gio, I sold DJ for Mixon straight up. Still on the fence as to whether or not this was a good move. I feel like DJ is more talented and we know Mixon is hurt. I gain 4.5 years of youth which I like and I've liked the way Mixon plays since last year... just needs to put it together.

Anyway, that's one trade that can be used as a benchmark.
