Re: Josh Gordon to be released
One of his problems is his repeated slip ups kept pushing back his unrestricted free agency. It'll be curious what kind of offers he'd pursue if be becomes a FA. Dez's experience might be relevant, in that case.TheRookiePro wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:38 pm Ugh, here we go again. A tiny silver lining for Gordon owners:
"Teams already calling the Browns, who league sources believe are far more likely to trade Josh Gordon than release him.
Gordon is a vested vet and is not subject to waivers. So if he is cut, he is a free agent and can sign where he wants, for what he wants.
A lot at stake."https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status ... 0972762114

This must be Josh Gordon’s Mom’s burner account.alewilliam789 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:48 pm Everyone is jumping to conclusions on Gordon. Guy is clean, but the Browns are just sick of him being unavailable. Also culture is changing for Cleveland and I think cutting/trading Gordon is apart of that. I think there’s a serious reality he’s just injured and may go on to play for a different team

lolll other than every report saying he's clean. But you all have the right to tell us he for sure relapsed? Get a hold of yourself.TheRookiePro wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:49 pmPlease, shut up. Unless you work for the Browns or you're in the league office, you have no reason to tell us that a habitual addict is clean when he's just been fired.alewilliam789 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:48 pm Everyone is jumping to conclusions on Gordon. He's an addict and addicts relapse dozens of times.TheRookiePro wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:16 pm Per Mary Kay Cabot:

All of you Gordon optimists can get off the forums and get busy practicing what you're preaching here. Go on your leagues and start trading for Gordon. Leave the practical pessimistic Gordon fans alone right now.

I also have some beautiful ocean front property to sell you in Wyoming
But with JG that has a slightly different meaning

Remember when the speculation for Martavis started again? All those reports that indicated he was clean despite an initial rumour?
Yeah.
Reports he are clean mean nothing.

Re: Josh Gordon to be released
I have a guy offering me three 2019 1st rounders (all predicted as early ones) for my Josh Gordon.
Should I take it or is this selling Gordon low?
Thank you all for your wise advice.
Yours truly,
Every Josh Gordon addict out there.

Re: Josh Gordon to be released
I was literally in heavy trade talks to move him with multiple different guys in my league when the news broke of Gordon not reporting to camp. His value evaporated except for one guy... the truther. Gave Gordon for Cobb and a 1st. Took that 1st and flipped it for Godwin. I got heckled by a couple league mates. Well whos laughing now?!?!
I am!
Brag post over. I do legitimately wish he stays clean. I am rooting for the guy.

FYI, for all of the betters out there; lay the points. Think the Saints are currently giving 9.5. I'd still feel comfortable if it were 19.5.

Re: Josh Gordon to be released
Ugh, owned Gordon since I bought him for a 3rd a couple of years ago. Was trying to hold out for a 1st this season... just one decent game from him. But nope- maybe's there's still hopes in getting a 1st for him if he signs somewhere, but I'm not sure that's going to happen at this point.
