This is shaping up to be an odd year.
Who is the 3rd? I know it is not Brady or Manning ... Watson?
Drew Brees.

No problem..

Apparently.
From a real football standpoint, elite RB's are really overrated to winning games.

As much bleep as I give Bortles, he's looked great in this game.
This depends completely on circumstance.

The Chiefs needed Hunt with Alex Smiff at QB. With Mahomes they don't need him at all.

How would the Saints look without Kamara? And the Panthers without McCaffrey? 15 targets? Their offense would be utterly pathetic without a receiving RB.

An elite RB would sure help offenses like SEA or IND not get their QB killed and the teams struggle. Time of possession, 3rd-and-1, etc etc.

I definitely agree they CAN be replaceable... but not always. The idea that you can just throw any scrub in any offense and he'll do good is kinda overrated IMO.

This isn't to say that they aren't valuable to their teams. Kamara, CMC and Fournette are absolutely valuable to their teams. But, they aren't doomed without them.

You can find late round guys that give you average/bottomline production, that isn't elite but is enough to execute a winning game plan. Look at the Eagles last year or the Patriots every year. No elite RB's, but they do just enough in the gameplan to win.

All these Barkley receptions of 0-3 yards are killing me; I'm against him and it is a PPR league.
Ugh.

I'm in a big hole and have Barkley and Trubisky tomorrow, so I'm loving all these catches

They would have been much better drafting a QB then Barkley. That was a huge mistake. They may not get that chance again any time soon

Their oline is bad but they have three top notch playmakers on offense in OBJ, Saquon and Engram. The Cowboys defense is a good young defense, underrated for sure, so theres that too.

I have always been a Cooks fan and he is one of the most underappreciated pieces around here.
Agree completely. Some of the valuations on the team advice forum this preseason were a tad light to put it mildly
Yeah. Plenty of people were projecting in the 70-80 target range.... He had 8 and a rush week 1 and 9 today.

You gotta imagine Dallas adds a big time WR before the 2019 season right? Dak looks decent throwing to these mediocre WR’s but there’s only so much you can ask him to do. Zeke is going to face 8/9 man fronts until they can stretch the field. Terrible way to support your young QB.

Anyone big hitting FA?
Or will it need to be via draft?

Awesome grab by Cole.

I was coaching my daughters softball today. Missed a lot of football. 😤

Just started checking in on the games I couldn't watch, Gurley put in a Melvin Gordon-esque day ha. Keelan Cole's catch was great but also what was that db doing, thought for sure he'd give it a knock and it would come lose, also Tyrod Taylor with abomb to Callaway beautiful.
