I think its a perfect role for him, hes getting handoffs, they design plays for him specifically. hes got a ton of upside, those who bought him after week one are going to be rewarded nicely.

Yeah but I bought him for 1.08 in my startup in early 2016 (about a month before he broke his foot). My hope at the time was that he'd build off the second half of 2015 (where he was something like the WR4) and become a truly elite WR1 for the following 6-8 years.

Being the 1b at WR in an explosive passing offense is pretty much ideal for Sammy, agreed. He's looking like he's going to be a good option as a starter in fantasy and a great flex play.

Sammy Watkins will forever be my waste of the 1.01 pick. God willing he comes back and blows up in the post season so I can sell, sell, sell! 5 years of him putting up big points on my bench and crap (usually) in my line-up! Sad!

I sold him for a late first and some throw in right before our rookie draft. Took Sutton with it and made another move to get Anthony Miller for the same team (with the throw in). The league was saying I sold so low on Sammy, but I was fed up with his "performance". The couple good games per year he had was always while riding the pine.

hard. If you didn't sell, you have nobody to blame but yourself. The guy has real talent, but was always going to be the 3rd option on this team. That and his feet are falling off.
