2018 Waivers
Guys youre picking up or dropping, waiver moves other teams are doing. Guys you're adding to your watch list. Short term production, stashes for later this year or the 2019 season, whatever.
After week 1, I'm looking at Brandon Marshall. Good opportunity with Baldwin injured and potentially out the next few weeks.
With Ryan Fitzpatrick blowing up, curious if anyone tries to scoop him up.

Re: 2018 Waivers
Simplest answer is everyone who gets cut this week during waivers potentially goes on my watch list. We can already see some of the overreaction in the forum of players people are jumping on or are concerned about. After just one week. For a DYNASTY team. After weeks and months of research and putting together a roster, they are willing to cut bait on someone in whom they placed enough value to roster because of a single performance. Unless I'm putting someone on IR and needing to fill their vacancy, I don't like to make moves week one. I'm more than happy to wait thru the waiver run to fill that spot with someone that gets cut by one of these redraft-minded owners.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

Yeah, you're right Skip. There's very little I'm looking at in Dynasty that's available on the wire, but as per the thread I just started I am looking at cutting White. It is only one week - but I think it's time. Going to pick up a LB to cover for Brown

The only guy on my wire that I have an interest in is Ian Thomas of Carolina.
In too many leagues to list players. Check out my Dynasty Deep Dive!

Re: 2018 Waivers
GREAT call. Completely forgot about Olsen's injury.
Alshon is weeks away from playing and Philly is desperate, calling in all sorts of WRs for tryouts. Maybe there's gold on the roster somewhere.

Re: 2018 Waivers
Just looking at one single team of mine, I have: Keenan Allen, Juju, Ajayi, Cousins, Drake, Collins, Westbrook, Lee, Conner. Now some of them you could maybe argue were justifiable drops, but Juju and Keenan I know for a fact i picked up Week 2 of their rookie seasons.

Re: 2018 Waivers
Some major interest in Brandon Marshall in my leagues today. In one, half the league put in waiver requests and a contender won him by throwing every waiver wire dollar at him.
Curious what his trade value would be.
I like to look at players getting cut to find potential cheap buys. Cam Meredith and Allen Hurns could be interesting targets.

Re: 2018 Waivers
Depending on your roster size (22 in my leagues) there are likely guys at the end of your bench that can be dropped for ww guys who may be prospects or resurgent. I'm more than willing to drop Mike Gilislee and even Mike Wallace for Philip Lindsay, Brandon Marshall, or Ian Thomas, all of whom are available.
But you're right about paying attention to overreactions in terms of guys getting dropped who should not have been. In 1 league I'm in CJ Anderson is there, and in 2 TJ Yeldon is there. My ww spot isn't high enough to get them, but they make the other 3 above more possible to fall.

Re: 2018 Waivers
Is there a way to see the losing bids on MFL?
Re: 2018 Waivers
He only went for $1 in y league. Found that odd. Lindsey on the other hand went for everything.Pullo Vision wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 6:35 pm Some major interest in Brandon Marshall in my leagues today. Re: 2018 Waivers
Yup. This. In my 14-teamer someone just cut Doctson. This thread reminded me to check if my claim went through and I indeed got him. Had I put in a claim and not been sitting at 4 doubt I'd have him.skip wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:03 am Simplest answer is everyone who gets cut this week during waivers potentially goes on my watch list. Guys I ended up picking up:
Richard - IMO better than even chance he becomes a complementary 3-down back making him attractive in ppr. Doubt we see week 1's usage as the norm, but 50-60 receptions seems pretty reasonable. He actually went for 50% FAAB in my 1pt PPR league
Martavis - Classic boom-or-bust bottom of roster lotto ticket, especially in dynasty
Also been looking at Ds that have favorable week 3/4 schedules to get ahead of bids.

Re: 2018 Waivers
I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger on Browns DST in 1 league. Garrett might be a game changer
Re: 2018 Waivers
Thx for the tip as I was wondering why we don't see that here. Says "commissioner has revoked your ability to see this" So I guess that means only he can see this.Pullo Vision wrote: ↑Thu Sep 13, 2018 5:18 amYep. Can see them all in our Fanball / RTS lg.
