I disagree. If Trubisky had executed the plays, the Bears put the game away. I can remember three passes that would've essentially won the thing were the receivers given a chance. Still optimistic about him for the future, but he's not there yet.

ARob looked healthy coming back from his ACL and was the primary WR. Very optimistic for him.

Sanders looked impressive. Has he overtaken Thomas as the 1A?

Seems like he's Keenum's favourite target. Will probably be like Thielen last year.

Rodgers is clutch, that is for sure. If the Bears run the ball with J.Howard on 3rd and 1 and show some balls ; This is a non issue. Find your identity Chicago. I'm not a huge J.Howard fan but, it seems to me that he does some things well. Chicago runs out the clock and wins the game. This game is on Chicago's play calling. I totally get that it is easy to sit back on the sofa and judge. Hind site is always 20/20 for us Monday morning Qb's. But in all seriousness, looking back at the flow of last nights game. Pathetic decisions imo. It's like do what works... get Allen Robinson involved, use Cohen and Howard in a balanced attack to keep defenses off balance, Get a nice lead, knock Rodgers out, Stop doing what works.... lose the game. I mean.... So much was going Chicago's way. They have a 20-0 lead! They knock Rodgers out of the game. Why not keep your foot on the gas? You are playing GB AT GB!!!! wow, to lose like that has got to be tough. Even with the K.Mack signing, Chicago shows us what type of organization they are. My 13 year old son goes to bed toward the end of the 3rd quarter and says, Dad, wouldn't it be funny if when I get up and check the news that I read - GB comes back to win? and I say, ha ha, it isn't going to happen. Well.... the darn kid was right. And, yep, he rubs it in this morning before school.

Oh, and, ya think GB is heavily dependent on Rodgers health? He goes down and the ship sinks and every single Defensive coordinator knows this. Should be an interesting game next week for GB. I wonder how sore that knee will be. Vikings coming to Lambo.

* Reality (as defined by Webster's dictionary) - A word for things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional ideal of them.

Bill Barnwell tweet:

The Browns are +5 in takeaways today. Since the Browns returned to the NFL, teams with a turnover margin of +5 or better in a game are 132-4-1. The Browns are responsible for two of those losses and the tie.

^ I still have no understanding why Cleveland/Tyrod decided to throw a downfield pass to Josh Gordon...I guess you can argue that Gordon had the corner beat and Tyrod threw a horribly underthrown ball.

Yet, it was 1st and 10 with 25 seconds left and on the PIT's 43.....lol just freaking pepper the middle of the field with Jarvis Landry or Njoku.

Trubisky didn't impress me, but the running game did. They did some weird stuff out of that backfield that worked most of the night.

So what are the odds Rodgers plays week 2 vs the Vikings? A one legged Rodgers seems far better than a 2 legged Kizer but do you risk further injury to your star QB in week 2 of the regular season or do you let him rest against a tough defense and let him come back against washington/buffalo in weeks 3/4?

Until we know what's wrong with the knee, it's hard to have a solid opinion. Is he doing more damage by playing? Is it a pain management issue? Will rest actually fix whatever is wrong?

But if I had to guess, I'd say Rodgers will play.
