Week 5- Aqib Talib/Marcus Peters

Week 14- Xavier Rhoads
Week 17- Patrick Peterson (likely not relevant to fantasy season)

QB: Matthew Stafford, Ben Roethlisberger
RB: Zeke Elliott, Joe Mixon, Devonta Freeman
WR: Nuk, Davante Adams, DJ Chark, Tyler Boyd, Robert Woods, Jamison Crowder, Cole Beasley, Gabe Davis
TE: Travis Kelce, Jared Cook

Team 2- 12 Team PPR TE premium 1QB, 2-7 RB, 2-7 WR, 1-6 TE:

QB- Deshaun Watson, Ben Roethlisberger
RB- Ronald Jones, Latavius Murray, Carlos Hyde
WR- Tyreek Hill, DJ Moore, Mike Williams, TY Hilton, Adam Humphries
TE- TJ Hockenson

Picks- 1.01, 2.01, 3.01, 4.01

That's a lot of money for a wide receiver who has done nothing.

How does it stack up relative to high-end PRs/KRs? That's really all he's been to this point.

The Pats just paid CPatt $4.5 mil/year with $5 mil guaranteed for context. I believe he's been one of the best in the return game but doesn't really provide much on offense. This contract says Seahawks believe that Lockett is more than just a kick returner.

Lockett!!!! If, and that is a sizable IF, he can stay healthy, his arrow is pointed up.

Predicting Seahawks emerging players in the Pete Carroll era is about as easy as predicting which NE rb to start each week.
Beyond Baldwin who is probably teetering on the edge of his cliff, I have no idea who will be next to step forward from that group. Could be any of those fliers Lockett/Darboh/Moore. I'm not particularly excited for Tyler Lockett, even with the extension news. He looks to be a good not great player who I don't think becomes the #1 there. My best guess is the next true #1 isn't on their roster at the moment.

Kinda thinking and wondering out loud here... why hasn't Seattle looked into a Dez signing? Seems like there is a need. Also seems like R.Wilson to Dez would make sense for all parties involved. Not sure where Seattle is at money wise, but, it sure makes sense in my mind.

^ Aside from the potential personality distractions I'm largely shocked that Dez Bryant is unemployed and Brandon Marshall in on their team.

Dez had way more left in the tank than BMarsh to my eyes.

Because Marshall cost Seattle barely over $1 million as opposed to the kind of money Dez is seeking. This is something that somehow keeps getting lost in the Bryant discussion. He wants a lot more money than he's worth at this stage of his career.

Dez will not be signed prior to September 1st. It makes no sense for teams to sign him now when they could wait until all rosters are cut down to 53 and the market has new names to choose from.
10 Team PPR, 25 man roster(1st and 2nd year player PS option for $20), QB, 2 RB, 3WR, TE, FLEX (RB,WR,TE), K, DEF.

QB-Luck, A. Smith, Fitzpatrick
RB-Gurley, M. Gordon, Jeff Wilson, Tevin Coleman,T. Montgomery, John Kelly, Justin Davis
WR-K. Allen, T. Hill, Josh Gordon, Golladay, Fitzgerald, S. Watkins, J. Reynolds, Enunwa,
TE-Burton, Ebron, Walker
K-Gostkowski
Defense-Vikings, Jaguars, Ravens

To me a bigger factor is the personality. Dez could easily be a distraction, but Marshall has done a lot of the years, including getting help on his diagnosed mental disorder.

I find it funny that the fact that he said this has such a big impact. It’s probably true about plenty of injured players, but if they don’t come out and say it it doesn’t impact our perception as much.

Week 1 is Harris. This list was kind of the tipping point for me, thanks. I'm trying to sell him hard but nobody is biting for their 1st.

Once camp gets missed, guys at the higher end of the contract range are either waiting for a catastrophic injury or waiting for week 1 to close when contracts are no longer guaranteed. Dez will likely get more offers once week one is done. I suspect the same for Darkwa and a couple of the safeties.
