Not unless someone in front of him gets hurt in 2018. I think he still needs to pass Humphries. But if you've got room to sit on him I like him as a stash heading into 2019 to see what happens with Jackson/Humphries

I like him as a player, and he's absolutely under the radar. You can get him for virtually nothing in most leagues, and he could pay off nicely in 1-2 years as he could play inside or outside. Good size, athletic, decent routes, fits the profile of a solid NFL WR.

If you don't have space for him on your roster I'd add him to the watch list so you don't forget about him. But on the flip side, Watson could have a Chris Conley type of career path too where he looks the part, but doesn't translate it to the field at the next level. Or at least hasn't a few year into his career.

He's a stash. Good talent, but buried on the depth chart right now.

I really like him, but was less than happy with the landing spot. However, I still think he could be a solid WR3 if everything breaks right; which for a guy I got very late or off waivers in my leagues is a great return.

The things I like most beyond his athletic measurables and what separate him from guys like Chris Conley, is that he dominated in college and did so from a young age. He still needs some refinement as most small school receivers do, but he's a favorite of mine from this draft class.

Like everyone else has said, I think he's a great taxi squad or end of bench stash, but I wouldn't expect any contributions until next year at the earliest. Humphries is an unrestricted free agent next year and DeSean Jackson can also be cut pretty easily, so he should have an opportunity to work himself in as the 3rd receiver behind Evans and Godwin in 2019.

I'm going to have to watch and wait for this guy,

its not a deep league, 10 teams. But I do also like his measurable, imagine he was in GB "drool"

I'm going to keep him on my watch list

I love the guy.
However, he has a tough path to fantasy relevance on a team loaded with receiving talent.

I would not expect anything in 2018 - but in 2019 I could see him manning the slot with Evans & Godwin on the outside.

Even then it is hard to love his production prospects.

On another note, all of this is why I love Winston as a fantasy option moving forward.

My draft board quick notes on Watson are as follows:
great DR and breakout age, very long arms, never faced an FBS defense, scouts say the workout scores are belied by the tape, 9 games in which he averaged less than 10 ypr on 5 or more receptions, will have to usurp Godwin
The last two notes are what I want to highlight.

- J. Watson faced inferior athletes in college and still had a conspicuous number of games in which he didn't dominate athletically the way someone with his workout scores should have. This implies he's a better tested athlete than athlete in pads.

- Godwin is showing no signs his incubating hype is undeserved, and it's clear the Tampa coaching staff is enamored with him. Jameis Winston has not shown he's a QB that can make his offense's WR3 fantasy valuable, even assuming Watson can eventually win that job.

J. Watson did do pretty well at the Senior Bowl practices. He wasn't the best performing WR there (that was probably James Washington), but he was near the top of the list. I'd be less pessimistic about Justin Watson's dynasty prospects if he were on some other depth-charts around the league.

Full disclosure: I did not study any of Justin Watson's tape. I wanted to, but I couldn't find any, even on private usenet. I found some zoomed out recorded game footage but it wasn't suitable for serious study purposes.

Just curious I have him on my taxi squad in a league and I saw Jordan Lasley just got dropped. How does everyone else compare the two?

My other taxi are James Washington, Lamar Jackson, Boston Scott, Courtland Sutton and Leighton Vender eche

Lasley's on my league's waiver wire. I have him watch-listed.

I'd roster Lasley before Watson right now. Crabtree is old, Smokey Brown is only signed for one year. Lasley should get a shot to start in '19 or '20 if he sticks with the roster this year. He had some flashes in OTAs, although he faded in TC. His gamelog in '17 was gaudy against Power 5 conference defenses.

Got him in 4 out of 5, I believe. Looking good. Not expecting much year 1, but this is a promising sign.

Now that I’ve secured him I can post publicly how much I like this guy. I was a little irritated he flashed with Winston because I was hoping to keep him on waivers till I could realistically clear a spot for him. Now that I have him taking a roster spot I will hold him past roster cuts in a couple weeks and probably be patient for a couple years.

He's good. Adam Thielen type upside if everything hits. He's already showing. I'm saying Thielen because it may be a few years of nothing before he hits, if he does. Patience is needed. Their depth chart is pretty strong at the moment.
