I've never been a big believer in Trey Burton being star but opportunity is key and goddamn he is being fed by Trub.

Mixon not getting much done on the ground in pre-season. Carson with less than 4 YPC, and lost a fumble at the goal line. He was also stripped of the ball and lost it the play before, but the said the play was dead. Had a 20 plus yard TD called back. Justin Watson looking good. As is Taylor in Tennessee.

No comments on the Cowboys? Lol, seriously though, through two pre-season games and 4 total drives, the majority of the starters on offense, keep in mind “without” Zeke and Cole Beasley but 4 drives against the opposing starting defense and they have 2 TDS, 1 FG, 1 punt. I’m actually encouraged by this, Dak has looked pretty good and I read a lot of crazy stuff on Twitter and some on here about how bad he is, but this offense is actually suited for him, spreading it around, a lot of roll-outs, of course they will use a lot of RPOs with his scrambling ability but I like how several different WRs are involved, Gallup had 2 more catches, both on slant routes, Hurns had 1, Jarwin with 1, Swaim with a couple, T.Williams had 2, one for a TD when working back on 3rd and goal with Dak scrambling. Also, the first team defense looks really good. Jaylon Smith is “a lot” closer to what he was at ND, he probably won’t ever get back to that level but he looks really good, Byron Jones and Chidobe Awuzie are playing good too. Awuzie had a sick interception tonight and the first team D, is shutting down the run game completely in the first two games. Granted, these games don’t count and the Cowboys 2nd and 3rd teamers have giving up nice leads in both games which led to losses but I’m definitely encouraged by what I’m seeing from the first team units against the opposing first team units, that’s all I can really go by right now.

I interpret from his name that the Cowboys are his 33rd most favorite NFL team.

I am hoping Burton ends being a solid TE, looking pretty good so far!

Ronald Jones with 4 for 2. That's now 12 carries for 11 yards in 2 games. Peyton Barber with a decent stat line tonight.

If Tampa Bay is expecting something even close to Jamaal Charles (aside from the number and hair), they better sign Jamaal Charles.

I hope not, they can’t afford that kind of injury, not many teams can but everything will be predicated off the great o-line and run game, of course. Plus, Travis Frederick is having some shoulder problems this week, inflammation and stingers, not good for a center but he’s saying the specialist says it’s nothing serious but that one makes me nervous too. Back to Martin, watched a video on Twitter with him walking with Frederick, L.Collins, Tyron Smith after the game without a limp or anything and they are saying the MRI is precautionary but you never know, I’ve seen it too many times a player looks fine and then the MRI comes back with bad news. I’m guessing a really bad bruised knee but we’ll see.

Mike Williams owners have to love that TD catch, that was great.
