Should we consider this guy in deeper leagues as this site suggested with their latest article? I don't see Ingram being resigned and always thought this guy looked good in limited action.

Anyone nibbling?

He was my 2nd rated RB in his rookie class. I've tried to get him in my leagues, but I think his owners think the same and want to hold him to see if he can become the 1b in NO

He's a strong hold for me, thought he would get a chance in Buffalo before being a surprise cut. Hopefully this is his chance to prove what he can do. I agree with the OP that Ingram is going to be playing elsewhere in 2019, hopefully 2018....

Definitely see him as the 1B there.

I’ve picked him up in 80% of my leagues since the Ingram news came out. Has a chance to be a RB2 for a quarter of the season

I've been holding in my sig league since NO signed him last year. I picked him up before the whys of his potential value (Ingram leaving, excessive signing bonus) were being discussed. I'll commit a roster spot to him til at least early 2019 season. The trade offers I've gotten have been weak and easily rejected.

I’m way lower on him than others who have posted here. I only picked him up in my league 1 in sig because he was essentially free. I was probably gonna cut him once we had to trim rosters tho.

Where do you guys have Williams vs Jeremy Hill who looked pretty solid in preseason.

My recent startup went Kamara, Michel-Burkhead so wondering what the best depth play may be.

People are all over Burkhead right now, but if Hill stays healthy, and Michel is still dealing with a knee, I think Hill might take some snaps from Rex, and at the goal line, too. I want no part of trying to figure out who to start week to week in this backfield. I would not take Williams or Hill, I like taking a guy and sticking to it, unless it's best ball, or rare circumstances, I don't like handcuffing.

Sean Payton loves to tinker, almost as bad as B. B. the King of the RBBC in New England. So J. Williams has a 4 game audition to see if he can get the old C. Ivory role as 3rd RB .

Kamara has the Pierre Thomas role. Ingram holds down Deuce McCalister.Kamara should also get the majority of the Sproles / Reggie Bush / T. Cadet receiving role although some like to think B. Scott the rookie might get some action early during the Ingram suspension.

J. Williams has a chance to carve out a long term commitment and make the decision to let Ingram walk easier if he can stay straight off the field and dedicate himself to learning the offense. Well worth a roster spot at the end of your bench as a lotto ticket

Trying to decide if I should pick him up. Went back and watched his tape at Arkansas, he certainly passes the eye test. Love the way he runs.

Jonathan Williams saw reps with the first-team offense in the Saints' second preseason game.

Williams ran for 37 yards on eight carries but missed a first-half blitz pickup. There's been some buzz on Williams over the last week, and he looks to have jumped Terrance West on the depth chart. Williams has a chance for an early-season role until Mark Ingram (suspension) returns

He was awesome in Buffalo but then for whatever reason stopped caring about football, put on a ton of weight and came into camp out of shape and got cut.

He has talent, just needs to not become Lacy.

I've had him before in my main league for a while, he is a FA right now and I need RB help. But what happens when Ingram returns? Alvin will see an uptick obviously.

Unless in a deep league, I'm not biting. He appears to be in JAG territory. He does some things well enough to catch your attention, but I don't see value here long term.

Is it me or are we going through an intense period of misspelled player names in thread titles lately.
