Just some of the records that could be obtainable:

Most pass receptions, season RB - 102, Matt Forte, Chicago, 2014

Most pass receptions, season—143, Marvin Harrison, Indianapolis, 2002.

Most pass receptions, game—20, Terrell Owens, San Francisco, 2000.

Most yards gained, receptions, season—1,848, Jerry Rice, San Francisco, 1995.

Most yards gained, receptions, game—336, Flipper Anderson, Los Angeles Rams, 1989.
Megatron had 1964 rec yards in 2012, FYI
Thanks! I guess the site I got it from forgot to update that!

Saquon Barkley is the Megatron of RBs. I couldn't believe how incredible he looked last night at... everything. I shook my head in disbelief and awe several times. Never seen any RB like him.

Man I'm pretty sure I'll be pissed for eternity that my team didn't lose just 1 more game last year. 2018 might be the biggest chasm between the 1.01 and 1.02 in the history of dynasty.

Then again... I said the same thing about Robert Griffin III's rookie year! Apples and oranges though. :ewink:

Since we have a new Barkley thread I thought this would be an interesting topic to revisit. I find the opinions fascinating and I think you can learn a lot from this thread about how to weigh some posters advice... Because he has never played a snap in the NFL yet is not a good argument for how a player should be valued.

As a general rule for rookies this still applies.
And then you have the freak talents as outliers.

Just here to say I was wrong about how he would perform this year.
lol

It happens.

(still happy with what I got for 1.01 though)
Do not join a league that has a veto option, it will be your funeral.

Same here. For what it's worth, I don't think anyone said he would be a bust. Some of us just didn't think he'd be this good this soon. Kudos for those of you who earned the 1.01 last year...a great time to be really bad and get rewarded with Barkley. Also, good for all the ones who traded for him and drafted him in startups. I still think some of the prices he was going for last year was just ridiculous and still wouldn't pay that for him...or anyone else.
