If your Penny weighs much more than, or much less than 2.5 grams then you can make a safe assumption that your Penny has been adultered.

He’ll be fine.

I personally don’t think Penny is quite as talented as some of his truthers do. But I still think he’ll be solid. And no, I’m not worried about Carson.

If Penny is gaining weight it’s probably because he sees how bad the o-line is there and he knows he’s going to get punished by defenders.

It’ll be very interesting to watch Seattle this year.

Supremely talented QB with a bad o-line and a lack of weapons with a small school talented rookie RB sitting behind him.

Rookie Ronald Jones just caught a beautiful 37-yard pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick. He’s been putting in the work to improve his hands. Running backs coach Tim Spencer told me he caught several 25-yarders last week. Good for him to put on film.

I'm confused, so does that mean he is good now? LOL. Everything is so micro analyzed in the off-season, on both sides of things.

It was discussed here (maybe not this thread; Penny/Carson have several), three weeks ago when that interview answer actually occurred.

Don't depend on the Rotoworld blurb feed to stay informed.

He looked good vs Stanford who was a top 20 team and in the Senior Bowl.

He struggled against Stanford for most of the game. He went down on first contact with the majority of his carries, many stops at or near the LoS. He looked fast whenever he got to the second-level clean. He did get better in the 4th quarter, continuing to run hard while Stanford appeared to tire.

At the Senior Bowl practices, he dropped more passes than any other back in attendance, although he also ran more routes than any other back.

I heard a discussion on his weight on Sirius Fantasy Channel, which I listen to all of the time and they were saying that yeah, if he really weighs that much, it would seem like a red flag but people in camp are saying he’s “supposedly” just as fast as he was before. Whether that’s true or not, I don’t know, but just passing along what I heard.

Article that talks about how the SD State running game was similar enough to Seahawks to help Seattle evaluate Penny.

The article also seems to confirm that Penny is around 236lb.
