Yikes! That's nuts. Someone still holding decker in a 10 team league? Deep rosters? I just got a couple shares in 14 team 53 man roster IDP leagues.

I doubt anyone is going to pay Decker more than the veteran minimum with some small performance incentives. For that matter, he's likely just a body to fill in for Edelman until he comes back from suspension. Dez isn't going to agree to a contract like that.

I'd rather have Dorsett personally. The pats made it work with Cooks, and Dorsett is a poor mans version of that. At least if he hits, he'll still have a couple yrs worth of value...even if Decker hits enough for a flex play, I doubt he plays longer than this season, capping his trade value.

He's worth rostering. But keep your expectations in check -- the Pats offense is difficult to pick up quickly for most players.

Dorsett's got more juice in his legs, knows the offense now, and has been good with his reps. I don't think it's implausible Decker could jump Berrios/Slater/McCarron, but if Dorsett holds steady with his form to this point, the job in the slot Weeks 1-4 is probably his to lose.

Fringe roster spot at best. Only because it's the Pats. (Hmmm... basically the same reason lots of us rostered Matthews  , but I digress...)

I had Decker for all his glory years - drafted him in the 3rd round of a rookie draft  - but "everybody gets old" like Andy Reid said yesterday.

Decker already looked washed to me last year on the Titans - though that was indeed a Stone Age passing attack, so there's that. Still, for a big red zone target, in a year where Corey Davis basically didn't play at all, Decker scored... 1 TD? 1?

Definitely not going to expect anything from him. I don’t really need him with my current WRs, but he potentially could turn into a FLEX option/ bye week fill in.

And I wouldn’t really be cutting a valuable piece. I’d be cutting Corey Grant and I really don’t need him with my other RBs.

Much rather have Grant. I think he earns himself a nice deal in 2019.

Really? Would you cut Austin Hooper then or just roll without Decker?

I'd roll without. You're plenty deep at WR

I'd agree that Decker is on the wrong side of 30 but Mariota only threw 13 TDs/averaged 200 yards a game and I'd think it's not all Decker's fault.

Not to turn this into a Advice thread, but is Decker worth dropping Jeremy Hill for? I also have Hogan for what it's worth

Seems like a lot of owners have questions as to how they should re-Decker-ate their teams.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Decker was released June 12th and nobody wanted him.

He signs with the Patriots and now he's someone worth owning?

Hard pass.
