Wow, the Jordan Matthews experiment didnt last long in New England

reports saying he was just released. Apparently that hamstring issue is pretty bad. I was actually trying to grab him in one league but guess this halts that train for sure.

LOL, totally agree. I was actually really interested to see what he could do with Brady as his QB. Will be interesting to see if he lands anywhere.

I have several shares of Matthews and while I didn't have major expectations, I was hoping he would come to form a bit with the Pats. Not sure what to do with him at this point.

Can't really criticize him for football reasons here since it's an injury. But, his long-term future probably isn't of fantasy relevance.

Anyone have a time machine these poor souls can use so they can go back and trade him away the moment he became a Patriot like they should have?
I would help them search, but I'm busy filling a giant bucket with cold water for the inevitable thread hyping up whatever receiver the Patriots pick up next. (Looking like Decker).

Yeah, I thought he had no shot here with Hogan, Gronk, Edelman returning after the suspension and all those RB's. And if they cut him because of the injury, then he was likely already on the bubble before that.

 "Well, that escalated quickly."

I might just dump him at this point, not looking good - glad I got him for free late last year.

Quite frankly there wasn't much of a market for him an any of my leagues. I'd rather just let him fail then trade him for a 4th/5th.

Absolutely a fair point. However, I'd be curious how many even attempted to sell vs. just assumed no one else was interested. (or even worse, expected him to be more than a weekly bench player on their team).
