Yeah, I don't think it's a very rosy outlook for week 1. Apparently Carson was running off to the side with trainers and Darboh, who is actually nicked up.

Ugh. Well, I suppose it's better than an ACL. It may prevent him from suffering a major injury before the start of the season. I hate pre-season. No long term effects here, just going to have to wait a bit. Can't wait to see the overpays for Carson now.

Per Ian Rappaport: "Seahawks first-round RB Rashaad Penny flew to Philly tonight and is having surgery to repair a finger injury that includes a broken bone first thing Wednesday morning. He’s out 3-4 weeks, which means he’s right up against the start of the season. Hope is he’ll be ready."

Eh, I read the article and I don't think it's any piece of new information. The article / link he was quoting was to the original story from August 3rd - in which Pete Carroll said he has no doubts about Baldwin's availability for week 1.

Not that Pete always tells the truth, but I don't think Baldwin's status has changed.

Re: Derrius Guice ... my leagues have the first two rounds of rookie/free agent draft right after the real draft, with rounds 3 & 4 in mid-August (aka soon). My "guy about to be dropped to pick up a 3rd rounder" was Fat Rob. So now ... would you keep him over these likely targets ...

Yeah I agree. Of course this isn’t “good” news but it changes very little, if anything, at all.

Broncos Pro Bowl CB Chris Harris Jr strained an oblique muscle yesterday in practice and was held out today for joint practice. The team is hopeful he can go Saturday vs the Bears.

Leighton Vander Esch has a “tight” groin, everything that I read on the Cowboys website and Twitter, etc, are saying it was just precautionary.
