I think it's much more likely a committee. I don't think Jones is bell cow material.bucsrule wrote: ↑Sat Jul 28, 2018 6:06 am Behind Rojo the Bucs have Charles (watch me run in place) Simms and Peyton Barber. Barber showed a little something last year so I see him as the no.2. No question to me Rojo will be the force at RB for several years, especially with all the WR/TE talent on that team to open things up.

I think slow is pretty unfair. He had a rough 40 at the combine because of the hamstring, but I feel confident he's much closer to his pro day 4.48 than his combine 4.65.ericanadian wrote: ↑Sat Jul 28, 2018 6:36 am He would probably be solid as an outside zone RB, but last I checked that's not what they're running in Tampa. Otherwise, he's small and slow and I see an Ameer Abdullah type progression here. Would take Ridley over him.

You have him one higher than I do, but I agree with your thoughts. I'm planning (hoping) on RB2 production this year with long-term RB1 potential.

assuming I am reading this statement correctly, is it too presumptuous for a combine attendee to call a site MVP a douche? oh well, ill take the gamblejcc6fd wrote: ↑Sat Jul 28, 2018 6:45 am Quick question, who is “Ronnie” Jones? Looks like there might actually be a Ronnie Jones who is an RB at Toledo. I do not think Ronnie Jones, Toledo RB, will have much of a shot to be an NFL RB1 this year. In fact, I’ll boldly step out and say he has no chance of getting a single carry this year.

Yes. I could see it as a joke, quite easily. Sometimes tone gets lost in black and white, and people miss the intent, and take it at face value.jcc6fd wrote: ↑Sat Jul 28, 2018 7:45 pmLol it was obviously a joke. Re: Ronnie Jones
I think Ameer could be a decent 3rd down back, unfortunately he's stuck behind a better one in Riddick. What happens when Jones busts out a long run in pre-season I remember Abdullah's ADP jumping drastically after that. A great example of why in Dynasty, it pays to stick to your process and not be so reactionary.Defender wrote: ↑Sat Jul 28, 2018 10:50 pmAgree with the Abdullah comp.
