In terms of weight. As a modern RB pass-catcher, he's an ideal size. Nice height, long arms, heavy enough to bully nickel-corners and light enough to break linebacker ankles. Of course, this assumes he learns the craft for it, something OTAs showed the Bucs clearly want him to do. But will he? /shrug
Are you not aware that his 40 time is a wash because he was injured mid-sprint? Just watch a little bit of his tape. Even the highlights would be enough. Believe me, long-speed and explosion are not problems for Ronald Jones.and slow
Ameer Abdullah isn't a great comparison. Abdullah has a legitimate 'rev-limiter', as I've seen others put it. Ronald Jones does not. Ronald Jones is tall and long-armed for an RB. Ameer Abdullah is not. Jones is a violent runner, despite his frame. Abdullah is not.
RoJo's USC tape is 80% Jamaal Charles at Texas, minus the confirmed testing numbers. The 20% difference is that Jones runs with more anger and less patience than Charles (which is probably why Tevin Coleman is another popular comparison).
