Alshon Jeffery, is he all that?
Re: Alshon Jeffery, is he all that?
...it was 5 years ago that he hit 1400. Not exactly relevant.

Re: Alshon Jeffery, is he all that?
Honestly he finished last year pretty strong (including the playoffs) and I could see him hitting something like 1000-8 if not higher. But the big things that have me worried are:
1) I don't expect Wentz's recovery to be a smooth one (even if he is looking good in camp so far) cause it's his physicality and fighting to extend plays that makes him so good kinda like Luck. I think he'll need to be more conservative whether he wants to or not, so I expect the offense to regress a little as a result.
2) Believe it or not, Agholor seems to be getting better and I expect his target share to only increase at the expense of Alshon and others.
3) And the biggest, given Alshon's injury history I don't expect him to just come back fine from this rotator cuff surgery he had... it's no guarantee he'll even be ready for Week 1, not to mention the practice time he's missing right now. Until I hear some positive reports on his recovery, he's slowly trending down for me.

Re: Alshon Jeffery, is he all that?
Tds aren’t sticky, and that’s what saved his value last year.
Re: Alshon Jeffery, is he all that?
Regarding the torn rotator cuff.
1. He played the whole season with the injury. I used to think Jeffrey was soft. Now I know he wants to be on the field.
2. Nobody knew (besides the eagles) that he had the injury and they still targeted him often. They also felt okay enough about the injury to give him a contract.
3. If he recovers well from the surgery, couldn’t he hypothetically be better this season.
I’d rather have Alshon than Sammy Watkins or Josh Gordon

But if Wentz has a setback, it'll be the first time he's had goat throwing him passes all season. See thread on Foles, Nick.flyersfan1981 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 8:36 amI believe there is a saying in horse racing..."Never bet on a horse to do something it has never done before."

Lot of word out of Philly that they will be using 2TE sets in the red zone. Could be an issue for Jeffery's TD totals.

AND A BAG OF CHIPS!!
I haven't read the thread. Hopefully nobody said that yet.

I would argue that it would become relevant if he was in a situation where he would get the same volume of targets. Since that is not likely atm barring unforeseen circumstances, obviously yes his ceiling is capped by a lower target volume.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Jeffery could potentially start season on PUP according to Rapaport.

That would be an interesting poll. I'd go Alshon too.Snake wrote: ↑Wed Aug 01, 2018 9:10 pm Regarding the torn rotator cuff.

Alshon + goat = 8 for 160 (on 8 targets)Lotto4Life wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 8:37 amBut if Wentz has a setback, it'll be the first time he's had goat throwing him passes all season.
