I just joined (another) dynasty league, this time Salary cap. Having no experience with this setup before was looking for any advice before we draft. Obviously there are so many ways to approach any type of draft, but any advice here would be appreciated.
PPR, 10T, 16 man rosters Start with 80M
Thanks in advance

Re: Advice on new league
I'd say to spend your money on studs but with only 10 teams and 16 players, every rostered player may very well be a stud (or potential stud)... So go for the studlier studs...lol
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
Re: Advice on new league
Skip is right. The league is shallow, meaning there will be solid options constantly available for exchange on waivers. Spending much of any significance on a guy that just “starts” is going to be a waste. I’d toss out names like Alex Collins and Ron Jones early, and let other teams win them for more than they should pay. At only 140 players deep (presuming 10 of these are kickers and 10 defenses as well), depth is NOT important. It’s all about getting the top guys.
How many of the players start vs sit on your bench? If it’s only a start 7 plus K, D or something, I wouldn’t be afraid to spend my entire budget on getting 6 big time studs and fill the rest of my team with the “scraps” of undrafted talent like Tyler Lockett, Tyrell Williams, Booker, Clement, and the like.
