allen hurns worth a 19 1st?

i am wondering if at this point is hurns worth a 2019 1st? its not worth it for me to flip him for just a 2019 2nd rather hold and see what he turns out but am i crazy to ask league mates "first to offer a 2019 first for hurns gets him" ? dont want to come off sounding stupid in the group chat.

alright word i appreciate that quick feedback, ... i think i could easily get a 19 2nd for him right now everyone wants dallas' wr1 right now should i sell before season starts and hurns shows to be just what he was in jax? or do yall think he has a shot at being something special a la his 1k yds and 10 td season.

Sell for any 2nd ASAP. Hurns is not suited to face off against #1 CB’s.. I believe his value will only go down.

IDK, I think a 2nd is kind of light, I mean, he could have a hot start, and you could get a tangible name. Hurns has had injuries, but he's a starting WR, although maybe not a WR1 on a team (OK, he's not), BUT, if a random 2nd is all you can get, I think it's kind of a lateral to sub-lateral move.

I like Hurns, but he ran over 75% of his routes out of the slot with Jax. Presumably Dallas would like him to play on the perimeter, and I just don't know how he'll do there. Analytically he's a better slot-WR than Beasley, but I'm not confident Dallas will acknowledge that and allow Hurns to take over the slot.

2nd is kind of light.....unless Gallup ends up the #1 target through the pre-season I do not sell Hurns today for a 2nd next year. I'd hold and take a chance that his value goes up during the season.

Hurns was undervalued after his big year in 2015 due to his UDFA status. I guess it’s possible he exceeds expectations and is a competent top WR for DAL. It’s pretty unreasonable to ask for a first now

FWIW, I don’t think there will be a #1 WR in Dallas. You’ll see a lot variability in who gets the most targets from week to week.

I don't think it's necessary to rehash the "Dak or Dez" debate. I fall on the same side of that discussion as does the front office and coaching staff. Couple that with Witten being gone, there are a lot of available targets and very little veteran experience other than Hurns.
