Howard must have some dropped passes in his history. In the games I've watched, he catches fine. Seems that while hasn't been USED as a pass catcher, he can be a three down back if they choose to use him that way.

On the other hand, if I had Cohen on my offense, I'd be trying to get him the ball too. He's electric. I'd make him a slot receiver who gets some run & gadget plays.
Howard has dropped more passes than any RB in the nfl the past 2 seasons. So it’s not really a narrative but more fact that Howard has bricks for hands.
I don't know if it means anything but the Bricklayers Union gave Jordan Howard an honorary members journey men's card for dropping passes all over the place.

Also Roberto Duran bequeathed his nickname to the Bears RB " Manos de Piedra " after watching him play.

Narrative: Howard has unreliable bad hands

Reality: after this year he will get a national ad campaign for All State

1. If this is true, even if McCoy wasn't directly involved, that's despicable.
2. However, if we exclude the moral part of this and talk purely fantasy-wise, one of those friends would likely take the fall in return for a few million. McCoy will likely get some kind of suspension but continue to play this season and beyond.

Were that to occur, I'd be dumping my Shady shares for minimal value as soon as he hits the field. Can only separate fantasy from reality so much.

Narrative: Alex Collins is JAG and will be replaced before next season by a current player or rookie.

Reality: He continues to excel on the ground in BAL and becomes a high end RB2 with RB1 upside moving forward as he improves his 3rd down ability.

If he plans to use a scapegoat, he’d better tom brady his cell phone before the cops can get ahold of it.

Defender - +1 for the TB12 reference.

Ditka - yes on #1. On #2, no way man... if this comes back to Shady's inner circle, it's very unlikely he avoids blow back from the league or the Bills. Even if one of his "friends" did it and takes the blame. Anything short of demonstrable innocence probably wouldn't fly. Can't imagine the Bills or the league would just let it go with some kinds of suspension. Seems like every domestic violence infraction is met by increasingly severe penalties from the league. Ugly situation developing. I sincerely hope he legit had nothing to do with it.
