Very true!
Not as true... Cook's greatest asset is between the 20s; he is a poor TE in the red zone. Even when he went to GB, I didn't buy him as a fantasy TE for that reason.

I have finally calmed down enough to agree with your post. I am so over Jared Cook that I was that the Raiders signed him. Now all I can do is hope you are right and this is a better football move than fantasy one. I'll live with Cook as a Raider if it means we get a Super Bowl shot.
I see. I was operating under the assumption that you could make such a move if a TE you liked better was available at your pick. Say, Kittle/Burton was there for you so you draft them and make Cook your drop. If you can't, that complicates things a bit.
Yea I’m pretty sure that you can’t be at the roster max at the draft, so I would have to drop him before the draft, which does make it complicated. In addition to my 1st round, I have 2.04, 3.03, and 3.06. I’m pretty sure I could probably get 1 of them at 2.04, but I was thinking of trying to wait until 3.03Shoreline Steamers wrote: ↑Wed Jun 13, 2018 3:02 pmI see.
