Re: Andrew Luck resumes throwing regular NFL footballs
All joking aside this was pretty big news for me. If Luck wasn't throwing by training camp I was going to make a trade for a QB. Nice to see him achieving it at the start of minicamp.

Re: Andrew Luck resumes throwing regular NFL footballs
The only Luck trade I've seen occur in any of my leagues was this, back on March 19th, superflex 12 team:
Andrew Luck/Antonio Bryant for Patrick Mahomes/Davante Adams.
Stealing.

Re: Andrew Luck resumes throwing regular NFL footballs
As much as it will suck getting the 32nd pick in the '19 draft, I'm still happy.
I doubt we even lose a game this year, TBH.

Re: Andrew Luck resumes throwing regular NFL footballs
Just for reference. Luck was throwing a college football. Per Indianapolis Star:
"The difference between an NFL and college football is negligible. The weight (14-15 ounces) and inflation (12.5-13.5 pounds per square inch) are the same. The college ball can be shorter or longer (10 7/8 to 11 7/16 inches) than an NFL ball (11 inches).
The college ball can also be slightly smaller, with its minimum circumferences a quarter inch less (27 3/4 lengthwise, 20 3/4 around) than the NFL (28 and 21)."

Good to see that someone hasn't yet given up on my man Antonio Bryant. He's still got some life in those 37 year old legs!

I think they also said he didn't make any throws beyond 10 yards.TheRookiePro wrote: ↑Tue Jun 12, 2018 11:56 am Just for reference. Luck was throwing a college football. Per Indianapolis Star:

Re: Andrew Luck resumes throwing regular NFL footballs
I was thinking near the same thing. If it's Antonio Brown, someone is a fool. If it's Dez Bryant, it makes more sense.

Re: Andrew Luck resumes throwing regular NFL footballs
I traded away Luck in a SF this off season for 2.08, 3.10, a 2019 1st & 3rd and a 2020 1st. I never doubted his return, just how well he would perform when he came back. With a completely healthy Luck at 100%, I am sure he is worth more but this was pretty good value at the time. I made this trade during our rookie draft.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
