Let's get the forum's opinion. What is the chance that Andrew Luck starts week 1?

This has nothing to do with him returning to pre-injury form vs struggling and putting up poor numbers. Just what are the chances Andrew Luck is the starter for the Colts first game of the regular season?

Dude hasn't threw a football in 1 1/2 years, I like to hear good news first before I think he plays week one.

tbh, I think hes shot, are you going to really feel good starting him knowing hes one big hit away from this all over again. lol

I realize he's not throwing yet, and hasn't played in a while. But I have to believe that if the Colts were at all concerned about Luck's status, they'd have done more to address the position in the offseason. Either that, or they really like Brissett. And I can't believe that's the case either.

A lot of optimists based on the current poll results...I voted 50%. Offseason news has been positive thus far, but I'm not sure how much that really counts for. All the offseason news last year was that he was fine right up until he went on PUP and then on IR...

the one guy said the colts would have done something by now, no no they didnt do anything last year, if you recall they traded for brissett after week 1. so they have the backup already in place. the #1 goal of the franchise is to make money, you dont make money by admitting your superstar is toast and bringing in sam bradford (just a name who is a feasible starter who was a FA). They need everyone to believe all is well and sell tickets and retain season ticket holders. things look dire in indy and i have 0 confidence in luck being able to play when he hasnt been even throwing yet i mean cmon guys use some common sense, the QB needs to throw in order to be a QB

Don't see how anyone can confidently say 0 or 100%, unless they have some inside information. The fact that the Colts didn't draft a QB, I'd say his chances are at least 50% or higher.

Ditto. I've been saying it for close to a year now. The lies that Irsay and the Colts told their fanbase last season were egregious. Irsay is an incompetent foolish blowhard with substance abuse issues. I hate the fact that the team suffers because he inherited the Colts from his Daddy.

I voted 100% because...the medical field has come leaps and bounds in recent years. I find it very hard to believe that the leading sports physicians and rehabilitation specialists can't get Luck back to full functionality. It might have taken longer than originally thought, but he'll be back.

Well, last year they avoided putting him on the PUP list and insisted there was a decent chance he could play. He never played.

This time does seem different though. Nobody seems worried or concerned about it. I'm going 80%.
