Rex Burkhead

Does he hold any value now? Pats added Michel and they also have White, Gillislee (for now), and Hill there, along with Burkhead.

He was good last year and turned into more of the passing down and goal line back last year. Does Michel just take Lewis role, while Burkhead keeps his current role, or how do you see that backfield shaking out? BB is very unpredictable, but he did seem to favor Burkhead down the stretch last year.

Reason I ask is that I was offered Burkhead for my 3.06. I'm not sure if I should take that chance on him, or if I should just look to draft someone with potentially more upside there (i know 3.06 can be somewhat of a dart throw though).

Also of note, Burkhead won't see my lineup unless injury/ bye week fill in, so he would strictly be depth at RB.

Agree with this. It depends on the depth of your rosters whether he's worth anything or not. I'd say 12 teams with 20+ players, Burkhead is on a roster. That 3rd rounder is about right, but I'd probably keep the 3rd. You can get an upside QB or TE with that pick. If you're aiming for a RB or WR with that pick, it's going to be about Burkhead quality.

Yea 12 team, 23 players. Right now I currently have Kamara, Howard, Mixon, and Breida at RB, but will be adding Barkley. If I kept the pick, I would probably either be looking at another RB (maybe Hines) or QB.

I value him as a late 2nd. He has flex value as the 1B to Michel, and he's a handcuff as well.

Yea it doesn’t necessarily have to be Hines there, I just figured he would be there as far as RBs. Idk what other RBs will be there.

Think it depends on what you are looking for. If you need a lower variable RB 2 or flex type play for lineups this year he could be real solid.

Tons of guys I like to draft in the 3rd-4th round range depending but they likely to a little time to simmer.

That’s the thing. I really don’t need someone for immediate production. My RBs will be Kamara, Howard, Mixon, Barkley (1.01), and Breida. So Burkhead wont see my lineup unless injury or bye week fill in. So he is a depth piece. Fairly strong at WR (OBJ, M Thomas, Cooper, Crowder are my top ones), so I’m pretty good between RB, WR, and FLEX. So I can afford to grab someone there and let them simmer if need be. Just dk whether to do that or have Burkhead for depth.

I just traded him during the draft for the 3.06 and selected Mayfield for 1st team in sig. I only want him where I own Michel. I'm also going to need to pair down my roster to 25 and we have 5 taxi squad spots, so this helped that cause.

Baker Mayfield at 3.06?!?! Hell yes that's the right move. Mayfield on a taxi is much preferable to Burkhead in almost any format...for me anyways.
