He's a great pass catcher and could help fill that void and see in uptick in usage during the suspension. But agree that I'd probably hold the 3.06 pick now that you did get taxi squads.

Of course, if Burkhead does start out hot you could probably flip him for more than the 3.06 you gave up and stash another player off the wired on your taxi squad. Though you'd be missing out on that QB you were hoping to add.
Yea that’s what I can’t decide. Taxi squad makes the decision more difficult now. Thing is Burkhead won’t see my lineup (based on my other players), so he would only be depth for me. So whatever he does in that 1st month will only up his trade value. I feel like I can get an upside QB, or even another position that could be more valuable down the road.

I’m working on a trade to acquire Aaron Rodgers. I would be giving Howard (and more), so my RB depth would take a little hit. I would still have Barkley, Kamara, and Mixon, but my only RB after that would be Breida. I would still have pick 2.04 though, but I’m thinking if I make his trade for Rodgers, I should take this trade for Burkhead to give me a little depth, even with our taxi squad being added.

I know it has been a while since this trade was offered, but it is still up. Is it a no brainer to take that deal for Burkhead to shore up some RB depth?

Hard to see you getting a player of more value with 3.06; if you are referring to the original post.

Yes I am referring to the original post. I was originally planning to hold 3.06 and use that to pick someone to place onto my taxi squad, but I’m thinking now Rex is the better option.

Would you take it regardless of whether I make the trade for Rodgers or only if I make the Rodgers trade now?

I can see them using Rex in a variety of ways (especially the first couple of games with Edelman out) since they don’t have too many other options right now

Get Rex, I don't think his role changes at all from last year. I think Michel takes over Lewis' role, which is valuable. And I think Rex keeps his role, which is valuable. Rex was putting up great points in the games he played and it was clear the Pats liked using him all over the field.

Burkhead is good, but it's going to be nearly impossible to figure out who produces between him, White and Michel each week. Just for shits and giggles, they may even throw Hill or Gillislee into the mix for redzone work.

Will be interesting to see if it does clear up. Last year down the stretch it became pretty obvious they were running with D. Lewis a lot of the time, but whether or not that happens this year all depends on a lot of variables. I'd have to guess that if for some reason Michel gets injured or goes in the 'doghouse' Burkhead will get a sizeable role regularly.
