Brandon Marshall officially signs with Seattle

And has officially had a career in which he will never play one playoff game.

@Valhalla Yeah, I doubt Thomas makes a comeback. Marshall not going to the playoffs is more astounding than a career Brown missing the playoffs each year.

Speaking of failures relating to playoffs. I just get the feeling the incompetent Marvin Lewis will sign Dez.

Pretty disappointing as a Darboh owner. It's probably not good for Jaron Brown either. I'm not sure that Marshall is necessarily going to bump either of those guys, but I don't think the team signs him if it's happy with it's options at WR3/4.

Let's see if he makes the team out of camp. Nothing wrong with bringing Marshall in, but I'm curious as to whether or not he's got anything left. If he does make the team, hopefully he and Balwin get along well. And I'm not writing Darboh off just yet either.

Better for real football than fantasy. He won't be a factor inside the 20s, IF he makes the team, he's likely to be a RZ specialist type.

I like it for both Marshall and the Seattle offense. Marshall is a shell of himself but theoretically offers a Graham-like presence in the middle of the field/red zone.

Wasn't expecting much for Marshall but this isn't terrible. Could be a spot starter with WR2 upside god forbid something happens to Baldwin.

^^^ there are few better spots with a combination of quality qb/ depth chart opportunity. Marshall is a legitimate HoF candidate on the field production wise ( off the field stuff may preclude inclusion. At the very worst can help the young wr in seattle become better at their craft. If he has anything left physically he could surprise people with a terrific season for what it will cost to acquire him. I could see russ leaning on him a lot when under duress knowing he can be counted upon.
