Hackenberg to OAK
Hackenberg to OAK
Not the most exciting trade this offseason but seems like an interesting one. Apparently coach Gruden was high on him coming out and still believes in him somewhat at least. I mean he was a second round pick not to long ago who never had a chance and changed his throwing motion.
A lot of QB depth for the Raiders now with Carr/Cook/EJ/Hackenberg
Any value here? Obviously only in superflex leagues

Re: Hackenberg to OAK
It just means he will be collecting his unemployment check in a different state after he's released.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
Re: Hackenberg to OAK
Gruden never met a QB he wasn't excited about, and I don't remember him ever successfully developing a young QB. He always had better success with veterans. Hack is likely just a camp body there.
3x teams in 32-team standard PPR + IDP leagues
It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

Re: Hackenberg to OAK
Conditional 7th and I would not be surprised if the condition is he makes the 53 - and he will not.
Meh.
Meh.
Re: Hackenberg to OAK
I hope he got his degree, he's gonna need it real soon.
Re: Hackenberg to OAK
Second round pick but far from a second round talent. He most certainly was given a chance, he simply isn’t good enough to put on an NFL field. He’s wasted space. It was a cut with hopes of a 7th. Good riddance.Rosenbluu wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 7:41 pm Not the most exciting trade this offseason but seems like an interesting one. I don’t want any of the Oakland backups, regardless of format.

Re: Hackenberg to OAK
You would have to play in a league so deep that nearly every skill position player is rostered, and the waiver wire is populated with guys not on NFL rosters.
I'd rank Hackenberg ahead of Tebow or Favre, but behind Manziel, for reference.

Re: Hackenberg to OAK
Sorry, but it’s a ridiculous question. Your asking if a QB who was a backups backup that didn’t have any value now has value behind Carr and a bunch of others guys when he was traded for a 7th round pick? Of course the answer is he has no value.
