Not sure KA gets that much of a boost from this - the secondary guys are the biggest beneficiaries. The two Williams & Benjamin, maybe even Gordon gets more targets now.

I expect a lot more 3 & 4 wideout formations.

In one league where I'm rebuilding and the Henry owner is contending and only has Kyle Rudolph on the roster, I've offered Eifert and ASJ for Henry. I'll report back with what happens.

I lol'd for real at the Ladarius Green comment.

But the poster who said Delanie Walker, that one is an intriguing scenario. He's in a contract year and Jonnu Smith is a really good prospect behind him. I wonder if Delanie's value would rise because he already gets a lot of volume in TEN...I imagine his TD potential would go up at least.

Why? Explain? His head is so big, why does his helmet look bigger than everyone else's? Explain yourself

Obviously helps him too, I just think Tyrell better at this stage. No expectations for Mike. Boosts Keenan even more IMO now that the middle of the field is entirely his.
I have no statistic to back it up (only memory), but from my recollection, Tyrell was most effectively used on shallow to intermediate crossing routes, in which he used his lanky speed to find the corner and turn it upfield. He's not just a field stretcher type that people often perceive him to be. He does operate (from what I saw, at his best) over he middle.
I agree Keenan definitely gets a bump, but he's not the only one operating over the middle.
Also...isn't working over the middle supposed to be Mike Williams' specialty? Maybe I'm wrong.

I really feel like Mike Williams is such a blindspot on this forum. Everyone just wrote him off like Kevin White after an injury riddled season. All of a sudden he is nothing, ignoring the draft capital invested.

Reminds me of someone just a few years ago...what's his name...oh yeah, Keenan Allen, the same guy being touted as potentially the #1 overall WR now this year. Some of y'all need to be politicians ;)

A lot of people didn't like Mike Williams to begin with. The rookie season just added to it. Lots of reasons to not like him...lots of reasons to like him. Depends on your preference.

I prefer Tyrell personally because he has been productive with Rivers. I would concede Williams has a higher ceiling but I also think his floor is significantly lower.

Absolutely huge for Allen. I agree that he will almost certainly be a top-5 guy if healthy. This at least gives Mike Williams a chance to establish himself as a red zone target.

I agree that rookies seem to get written off too quickly due to injury. But I am not seeing the analogy with Allen. Keenan Allen had over a 1000 yds and 8 TDs in his rookie season. He was in a decline before he got injured and bounced back last year but he had proven that he can be legit. Maybe Williams will be the guy who can put it together but personally I don't think the talent is there and that is why I am down on him, not due to injury.

Does this hurt Gordon at all? Lack of a solid TE to block-ect?

I don't think Henry was that great of a blocker.. in fact, I think you could argue Green is a better blocker..
That said, I think it means more targets for Gordon though.

Pew Dogs wrote: Wed May 23, 2018 4:59 am Which TEs are most available for trade?

Will they take on Brate's contract?

Maxx Williams, Nick O'Leary, Adam Shaheen, Jack Doyle, Gerald Everett? I guess the question there is how many of those teams are committed to a frequent two TE set.

Does Tennessee move on from Delanie Walker and go with Jonnu Smith?

Free agents Coby Fleener or Julius Thomas? Lure Jason Witton or Martellus Bennett out of retirement?

IMO none of those options are realistically likely. It makes bringing back Antonio Gates look most likely to happen.

If I had to guess, though ... Bennett.

If I was GM (🤓) I'd go hard for Walker, since Tennessee May think Smith is ready.
this confuses me, TB just signed him they obviously want him their long term its not like they have been shopping him.
They aren't too sold on Brate. He can be cut after this year with no cap penalty at all. If the Bucs feel like Howard is mostly ready, it could make sense for them to trade Brate and get some draft capital out of him.

How is everyone valuing Tyrell Williams now? He was a nice player in 2016.

I've been offered a pair of 4ths for him, but that feels light. 2 days ago I probably would've accepted though.

Guess who drafted Henry in the 3rd round of a 12 team start 2TE (2 PPR for TE) startup 6 hours before news broke yesterday? This guy.
