A couple of years ago I was fading the likes of Eddie Lacy and Doug Martin while they sat on a pair of 1k rushing seasons each, so let's see if the same logic carries through to the next set of players;

Jordan Howard - A very capable runner but his lack of versatility may keep him off the field just enough.
Devonta Freeman - Talented player but lack of size and athleticism may finally be catching up to him.
Lamar Miller - There's just always something holding this guy back. If Foreman comes back healthy (I know I know, big if) it could put a further dent into Miller's production.
Mark Ingram - Highly doubtful he gets it this year due to his suspension, and after that he'll be 29 and entering an unknown situation.

Gurley appears to be on his way to a 3rd 1k yard rushing season, health permitted. I don't know if I've forgotten anyone else that's relevant.

On the other side of the coin, I think now is a great time to buy low on Derrick Henry. His price (after initial rookie drafts) has been too high for me, but it might actually be possible now to get him for a reasonable sum.
Just a bit of an update for this;
- The 4 players I listed above that were unlikely to get another 1k yard rushing season have all failed, at least for this year.
- Gurley is officially an outlier as he has hit 3 1k yard rushing seasons. As you probably already know I couldn't put him on any of the lists due to his lack of athletic testing.
- Derrick Henry actually did make for an excellent buy low and tallied his first 1k yard rushing season. He should be due for at least 1-2 more such seasons.

Lamar Miller sits at 973 yards this season.
The seasons above 1k were 1073 and 1099 yards.
I would say this season is similar to the 2 seasons above 1k, when you look at it from a fantasy perspective.

No disrespect to DD intended, but Henry was garbage for 75% of the season. I think the usefulness of this tool is still up for debate and I don't think Henry is a good positive example "yet."

This is not true. Henry averaged nearly 5 ypc on an offense that struggled all year. Most telling is Dion Lewis average 3.3 ypc in the same offense. The biggest issue with Henry was low volume.

But it is true. He average 3.7 ypc for the first 75% of the season.

I am not sure which season you are looking at. Henry had a bad first 4 games and then averaged well over 5 ypc the remaining 12.

Henry did not help you for the first 13 weeks of the season in 2018. He probably didn't even help you in week 14 since he had been garbage all year so most owners didn't start him. Dynastyninja is absolutely correct in questioning whether or not Henry should be viewed as a success.

Looking forward, I am happy own both Mack and Penny.

Indy's O line is amazing and Penny will be the guy next season IMO.
