Thanks, for some reason I thought it was the 9th.
I've seen it's the 2nd Tuesday after the draft, which this year is May 8th.

He ran for 1,000 yards behind one of the worst offensive lines in football and got zero help from his QB last season. Defenses were keying on him all season. Up until 2017 injuries/ missed games had kept his fantasy numbers down.

If Andrew Luck does make it back on to the field the Colts need somebody in the backfield that can protect him. I don't think they have a guy right now that can. Enter CJ Anderson Who is one of the best pass protection RB's in the league and if he stay's healthy would easily put up another 1K 30 rec season. Thats a solid RB2 for fantasy purposes. I'd be shocked if Indy doesn't add one of Anderson or Murray for Luck's safety alone.
This. It's stupid to pretend that CJA sucks just because he's been injured. If someone wants to say, "don't acquire him because he's injury prone" then that's a much more reasonable opinion than one that states he's been mediocre, especially after he just put up 1k yards on a garbage offense and finished as PFF's RB6. He's always performed well when healthy and he's not old yet at 27.

Nobody is selling him for peanuts in dynasty, but I'm with you in that I think Indy will land CJA or Murray - picked them both up for spare change in a recent redraft gambling at least one of them finds a nice home. At this stage in their careers, I think CJA is the most likely to end up in a good situation. IND, MIA, CAR are the most likely spots. Indy would be crazy to not pick up one of them. The cap space and need are both there.

I actually really like this spot and it pretty much paves the way for him to be a 2 down starter. Also believe he could get some 3rd down work with McCaffrey being on the field at the same time or playing some in the slot.

as a CJA owner...I'm not regretting giving 2.6 for him. No reason he can't come close to 1k yards and 6+ TDs

Fine sign. Cmac could not be a 3 down back anyway.

Completely agree. I gave the 3.03 for him a couple weeks back just before he got cut and i am totally ok with it. Definitely a good landing spot.

I only own him in two leagues but feel like this is about as good as anyone could’ve expected, as far as landing spots. Hoping he puts some decent numbers early on so I can try to trade him.

Unsurprised.

Wonder how much he's getting paid this year. There's still a chance he's getting a camp-body contract, but I doubt it, of course.
Space Cowboy wrote: Thu May 03, 2018 3:25 pm If someone wanted him, they would have signed him by now. He'll either latch on and get 80 touches somewhere or he'll have to wait until the season and hope for the injury replacement phone call.

Signed post-draft ahead of Adrian Peterson and DeMarco Murray.

Perhaps the '8 teams are interested' report on April 25th was true.

I picked him up in 2 leagues after the draft ended with the Panthers not taking a RB. There are worse end of the bench fliers. With CJA signed, CAP is back on waivers.
