Houston should be interested but Alfred Blue "knows the system"

CJ is probably just fighting for guaranteed $$ and will sign once he settles for very little
I thought this was an under the radar spot as well. Also thought the Raiders may be interested.

I don’t think the fact that CJA is still available necessarily means he isn’t good enough to be a starting RB somewhere.

It’s more a product of the RB position. Teams know rookies are cheap and able to provide production right out of the gate in their right situation. Makes sense that RB needy teams would wait to pay CJA until after the draft if they still need to.

Now that the draft is over, Indianapolis, Miami, Carolina and Baltimore are my top landing spots.

Dark horse teams might be Green Bay, Pittsburgh, LAC and NYJ.

I think Dolphins would be one of the logical choices here.

Depth for Minnesota perhaps?

Man, this CJ Anderson story reinforces the - NFL = Not For Long relationship.

CJ to Houston would be dope. Teams like the Colts, 49ers, Packers, Rams, and Steelers should all show some interest.

I could definitely see him landing on the Texans. as others have mentioned, Packers would be a good spot too. Maybe the Bills?

You guys are obsessed with CJA! How many mediocre seasons and lack of interest does he need before you guys move on.......

Sometimes you have to work with what you have. What's wrong with hoping for the best and being curious? I don't think this thread was advocating for people to go out and acquire CJ. Just about solid landing spots that could still be a possibility.

He ran for 1,000 yards behind one of the worst offensive lines in football and got zero help from his QB last season. Defenses were keying on him all season. Up until 2017 injuries/ missed games had kept his fantasy numbers down.

If Andrew Luck does make it back on to the field the Colts need somebody in the backfield that can protect him. I don't think they have a guy right now that can. Enter CJ Anderson Who is one of the best pass protection RB's in the league and if he stay's healthy would easily put up another 1K 30 rec season. Thats a solid RB2 for fantasy purposes. I'd be shocked if Indy doesn't add one of Anderson or Murray for Luck's safety alone.

Either there is something wrong with him that we don't know of yet (injury or off fields things), or, he just isn't as good as people believe. I'm surprised he hasn't landed somewhere yet, is it possible he is asking too much money? Something has to be putting teams off him.

Why? For all you know he could be assessing different situations and figuring out his next move with his agent. We don't know that teams aren't in contact with him. Why should he be in a hurry to sign now? Most vets hate OTA's.

May 12th - that's when the next wave of free agents will start signing. After that date, the new free agent contracts don't count against the Compensatory pick equations.

Thanks, for some reason I thought it was the 9th.
