This year's Mitch Trubisky

Last year had two shocks in the draft- Trubisky went 2nd overall, and Chicago moved up hard to get him.

Is there a player this year you think will be drafted far earlier than expected? What team will do that?

Lamar Jackson in the top 12, LAC, BAL, Pit, NE all could be in play to trade up

The Saints seem to be trying really hard to trade up..
I am curious who they are looking to target.

If the top 3 are not Allen, Darnold & Mayfield; I'll be surprised.
Not necessarily in that order.

Mayfield at #1 would have seemed like a pretty big shock a few months back.

I'll say Rudolph going ahead of Allen/Ljax at 12 to the Bills.

Completely agree. The first mock I saw of NO moving up was odd. There's been too much fire to dismiss the idea now. They seem like their gearing to win now- DL (Vea, Payne), OL (Nelson, McGlinchey) DB and TE would be the most interesting. Aside from QB, obviously.

I'm going opposite and saying Lamar Jackson is this year's Jimmy Clausen/Geno Smith.
