That is some excellent clickbait by Schefer there.

Not to mention Belichick not fielding his best team on Super Bowl Sunday. No way Butler sits if you want the optimum chance to win, unless you're letting personal feelings get in the way of fielding the best team possible on the most important day. I can only imagine what Tom is thinking. You go thru the whole year dedicating yourself to the principle of excellence, then get to the point where you need it most and it's not allowed.

I would not be surprised if he just hangs it up.

^ well I don’t think he retires, and while Brady not committing to 2018 isn’t a story in itself I think there is a bigger picture worth thinking about.

The Patriots should not have traded Jimmy Garrapolo.

I can't think this will cause any issue until I see it actually happen. Just predisposed to assume NE will just work through it like robots per normal.

no ... no they shouldn't if they cannot decide which one is the best then likely neither are worth a damn and they should just take barkley and nelson and run it 50 times a week .

I can't stand Brady and the Pats, so I hope he and Gronk both retire...but this is a non-story and both will be back for at least one more season and probably even go to another superbowl...and hopefully lose again.

Belickik was forced to trade Jimmy GQ. He knows the guy is a star in the making and wanted him for post-Brady, but Kraft is blinded by the glare of 5 super bowl trophies...

That said, the Butler situation has soiled Belichik's sterling legacy. What a dumb move.

Out of curiosity I'd like to see Brady without Belichick and vice versa. I guess we did see some Belichick without Brady. 2008 they went 11-5 but missed the playoffs.

Same here.
I’m Team Hoodie and think he’d be more successful without Brady than Brady with out Belichick.

Belichick has nothing to do with Brady's side of the ball so how does Brady need him?
