I like Allen a lot. Good arm, smart kid. When they did that technical ESPN profile on him (I forget the name of it, SportTech or something?) it was amazing.

So far the only weapon added to Buffalo has been Frank Gore. I guess his veteran leadership will help Allen but we shall see if any WR are added via FA after the failed AB acquisition.

I will be very surprised if they let D.K. get by them in the draft. Allen has a cannon and Metcalf is fast enough to catch up with his throws.

Not a lot of WR's in FA that fit in FA for the Bills IMO.

He also has a large catch radius, which would come in handy with Allen.

They just signed the center from the Chiefs, so that is a very important signing for Allen.

Seems like TE money has gotten a lot more in the past few years - I guess that teams are really looking for those all-around TEs (that can run block, pass protect & catch somewhat) rather than simply Move TEs.

Josh Allen- do you believe?

Postby Pullo Vision » Mon Sep 28, 2020 11:40 am

He's playing well abd they aren't hiding him. Buffalo is among the league leaders in 3, 4 and 5 WR sets. Some talking he's an early candidate for MVP consideration.

What's his dynasty rank after this season?
League #1- 14 tm ppr, 1Q, 2R, 3W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1K
1 DT, 2 DE, 2 LB, 1 CB, 1 S, 1 flex

League #2- 12 team PPR, 1Q, 1R, 2W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1 W/R/T, 1 Def

League #3- 12 tm PPR, 1Q, 0R (yes, ZERO RB) 3W, 1T, 2 R/W/T flex, 1 Def

as a certified Allen hater (just cuz its so fun) I think its a bit of fools gold. Early MVP considerations are silly in my opinion. Wilson gets early MVP considerations every season and never gets a vote.

He's done better than expected, i'll give him that. However I dont know if I believe in him being able to continue this throughout the season.

as for fantasy, his value will always outpace that of real life just because of his rushing upside. If he does continue on this trajectory, he has to be considered in the top5 QB's

My opinion really hasn't changed. He is still going to make horrible decisions and miss some throws his whole career, but the rushing updside makes him a fantasy star. He is actually I think developing as a passer quicker than Cam did, so that could be interesting.

Can think what you want of his skill set, but I know that he is the leader of that team. The way they have responded to him was a pretty incredible shift to witness .. its like when you have a work crew that works to exhaustion for the right guy leading them, to me, that's Josh Allen. I've enjoyed watching his whole career up to date and I think he has worked on some of his weaknesses (ie, touch passes) ..

I think he's the real deal .. may not be the most gifted, but has the grit you want ..
