Do you think Mayfield is the number one qb?

Personally I think Rosen is by far and away the best

I do . . . Rosen is my number 2b, but barely behind, if not equal to, Darnold . . . Darnold's accuracy is fantastic and he has an nfl arm, though not elite . . . he just needs to learn to make better decisions/reads, which I think will come with nfl coaching (though it is worrisome) . . . I think all 3 will be very good to great qbs though

Josh Allen comes behind Mason Rudolph, Lamar, and Lauletta for me . . . all of which would be gone before the end of round 2 if I was picking for every team, lol

With all the games I have watched, in addition to the statistical research I have read, I really don't know how anyone doesn't have Baker number 1.

You're either going to regret passing on Allen or take a huge sigh of relief that you did pass on him. I don't see an in between. He is whatever an organization wants to make him at the QB position. So, a large part of his success will be about the coaching personnel around him. If he went to somewhere like Buffalo, I think he's doomed. But, if he went somewhere like Denver or Miami, there's plenty of reason for optimism.

I'm torn on Mayfield as a pro, but the Big12 thing is overblown. He absolutely torched TCU, they were I think #6 in the nation defensively and then put it on Georgia in the playoffs, who are from the mighty SEC. Also, his after the game performance at the Buckeyes gained plenty attention, but that was also going on the road to beat one of the best defense me in the Big10. They seem to find some NFL caliber dbs.

Mayfield is easily the best quarterback in the class. Allen should be perceived as a second-third round project type.

Tough to really focus completely on Allen's college stats without recognizing the lack of talent on his Wyoming team and how poorly the team did without him. I think he will be a gamer, but I see why some believe he has the most developing.

Mayfield is also my number one in the draft though.

The not having help excuse is lame. He's playing against horrible competition. He sucked at JUCO. He sucked in the MWC.

Moreso his receivers weren't talented enough to catch his fastballs even if they were well placed. Pretty sure JUCO receivers would be even less talented.

So he's so great he needs NFL caliber receivers to complete passes? Lol. Ok.

Gentry wasn't elite, but he was a fine receiver.

Even accounting for drops, his accuracy percentage is at the bottom of the class

I usually just read some posts on here and go on my way but I had to make an account to ask you what do you see wrong with Josh Allen? You mention accuracy but list his completion percentage as the reason. Since his receivers would drop around a handful of passes a game, can you be more specific for why you think he isn’t accurate since using completion percentage would be a flawed argument.

Right now I have Rosen, Allen, Mayfield, Darnold, Jackson. You mentioned Darnold having great accuracy and I have to ask if you have watched any tape on him? I see more erratic, under, over thrown balls from Darnold than from Allen. Shoot there was one game where he was 0 for 10??? on throws that were 10+ yards.
