Top 5 PPR players
Top 5 PPR players
Who are the top 5 in PPR, 1 QB leagues?
Re: Top 5 PPR players
After Gurley, Nuk and OBJ, it's almost impossible to complete a top 5. Everyone else except Evans (3 votes ? Still not for me...), Hunt and LF could be in the conversation. It's 7 players for 2 spots.
If it's right now, i would choose AB and DJ. Question of gut probably. But it could easily be Bell and Zeke instead.

Re: Top 5 PPR players
Gurley, OBJ, Hopkins, Zeke, DJ (not necessarily in that order) ... was tempted to vote Barkley but need to see landing spot..
Re: Top 5 PPR players
I have a solid top 4 of OBJ, Hopkins, Gurley, Zeke
And after that is a tier of Bell, DJ, AB, Evans, MT
None of that is ordered. Just two tiers where the people inside can go any which way

Re: Top 5 PPR players
Really weird to me that Zeke continues to be consensus top 5. Declining offense, team. Already has a 6 game suspension and domestic smoke under his belt. Not to mention he's not that good at receiving and will see his receiving work cut into when Dallas adds a satellite back soon.
Evans is an easy choice over Zeke, not even close IMO.

Re: Top 5 PPR players
Idk why Mike Evans has fallen from 2nd overall to barely in top 5 after a "down season" that was barely worse than aj greens fourth season... Just give it a bit and he will be back in the top 5

Specualation. Could just as easily say Evans loses red zone work and targets when they add Barkley soon.Jason3123 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 16, 2018 8:50 am Really weird to me that Zeke continues to be consensus top 5. Re: Top 5 PPR players
Even if I were to move Zeke out of my top 5, I can't justify putting Evans in it. He had a down season...but he had a similarly down year in 2015 where he was #18 among WRs (and outside of the top 20 this year). I have a very hard time putting him in the top 5 players when they still have just an above average QB in Winston and will be adding a rookie RB to supply a running game they've been missing. I expect Evans to rebound into the #8-#13 range of WRs.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
Re: Top 5 PPR players
I voted AB, OBJ, Evans, Hopkins & Zeke.
Zeke beat out Bell for me due to age/situation; and I prefer him to the other RBs.

Re: Top 5 PPR players
OBJ & Hopkins are easy choices for the top5 - with no explanation really needed.
Gurley is an easy choice for me, with 2 elite seasons under his belt. He's an all-around stud RB on a top offense and is still just 23 years old.
AB is also an easy choice for me. I know he's older than most other top-tier WR's, but he's still just 29 and is putting together a historical run that only Jerry Rice & Marvin Harrison have rivaled. He should be an elite producer for another 3+ years easily.
The fifth choice is difficult. I can't seem to value another RB that high as they all have some concerns - Bell (age, wear & tear, future team?), Zeke (character concerns, questionable offense, conditioning concerns), and DJ (age, declining offense) were the only RBs on that list that I'd value as potential top10 players. I'd probably value Barkley as high as Bell / Zeke / DJ, and ahead of the Sophomores (Kamara / Hunt / Fournette)
It comes down to Allen / Thomas / Evans for me. Thomas might be the safest pick, but how much of his steady / elite production is tied to Brees? Evans might be the riskiest pick with the most upside, but he's disappointed 2 of the past 3 seasons, and might need Jameis to take that next step to reach his own potential. Allen just put together a monster season and is still only 25 years old with a QB that should be around another 3 - 4 years, but I can't blame anyone who is still worried about his ability to stay healthy.
Bottom line - a clear top 4 for me - Gurley / OBJ / Hopkins / Brown. And after that, it's a matter of personal opinion, positional preference, and risk tolerance.

Re: Top 5 PPR players
For the record I should have included Barkley as well as a couple others. The problem was you can only have 15 options in the poll. AJ Green and Julio might have gotten a few votes also.Forza_Azzurri wrote: ↑Mon Apr 16, 2018 8:31 am Gurley, OBJ, Hopkins, Zeke, DJ (not necessarily in that order) ... was tempted to vote Barkley but need to see landing spot..

Got a tier break in my top 5
Gurley, zeke, obj, Hopkins all pretty close
Then
Thomas, Evan, AB, DJ, bell. Gun to my head probably Evans. Still super young team committed to him long term, Jameis should bounce back, never gone under 1K yards in a season
