Cowboys fan here, Switzer and Noah Brown are the only guys I'd even consider and that depends on how deep your rosters go. Williams has been given chance after chance to step up and failed every time, Beasley had one decent year and the league figured him out.

A rookie WR will be brought in and probably a TE as well. The offense willl run through Zeke. As another Cowboys fan in here said, all signs point to a huge workload for Zeke.

Holding my breath until he signs somewhere. But frankly, I'm just glad he got out of Dallas.

I'm not sure he can perform any worse with a new team than what he's done the last couple of seasons. So worst case this would be a lateral move. That would still be disappointing, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there's an organization with the cap space and team fit that helps Dez produce a solid 2018 and beyond.

FWIW, I agree that Washington is not that team.

Jon Gruden's clearly been studying tape from 2012 to pick his guys to sign, so maybe Oakland is in the mix

I don't think there is a team that can make him be like 3-4 years ago. It's like choosing the less worst option more than the best.

SF is on my mind as a first option.

WAS it depends if Smith can go on his 2017 level with Hill and Kelce with Hunt on the ground. But i doubt Dez will be a major upgrade on Doctson, Crowder, Richardson that are all 700+ yards WR. Too much mouths to feed

IND makes sense with TY Hilton but i don't want this since i'd have both in the same team :)

GB will be great for his value but...dumps Adams value a bit i acquired somewhere else.

We will see !

90% chance that Dez won't be the player of old wherever he goes. With that said, he wasn't going to be that player in Dallas. As a long time owner, I am optimistic of most landing spots considering the last couple years.

Mike Jones of USA Today wrote: Free agent Dez Bryant is not on the Redskins' "radar."

After being released by Dallas on Friday, Bryant said, "I'll see you guys twice this year," implying his desire to sign with another team in the NFC East. Apparently that team won't be the Redskins, who are planning to stand pat with Josh Doctson, Jamison Crowder and Paul Richardson as their top three wideouts. Bryant isn't the player he once was, falling short of 1,000 yards in three straight seasons while also leading the league in drops in 2017.
For a missed pass to be considered a 'drop' it has to be catchable per NFL standards...right? Thus all the Dak hate is somewhat skewed? Asking for a friend.

Yes, but I would not use dropped passes as much of a useful metric. Terrell Owens led the league multiple times in this category despite posting great numbers.

This thread doesn't need to turn into another "Was it Dez or was it Dak?" back and forth...that horse has been beaten and buried.

This might be the most drawn out cut ever, but we knew it was coming. I was already happy about my Hurns share before this. Now I am moreso.

The intetesting thing is his comment about seeing them twice this year..

In before he signs cheap to the Eagles to spite them AND win a Super Bowl..
