Its one thing to say you would take a certain player at a certain pick, then to actually take that player and comment on why really helps to see what that person sees. Its also crazy to see in a 14 team league how many picks have been traded, and some a couple of times already. In my leagues I definitely don't see that many picks traded.
It's a good group of guys and we have been playing together in this league and others for several years so we all know each other pretty well in terms of what it takes to get a trade done.

Same. Curious to hear that owner's explantions of why. Great thread here

I have 1.6 and am debating Rojo there, but wondering if I should go WR there (Sutton or Moore) as I have 1.8 and could take whoever left of Rojo or Penny as the better value course of 6 and 8

I also have a 1.4 in another league and that will be either Michel or Chubb, would love to see Jones at 3 meaning I get my pick of them!!

7 RBs in the first seven picks. That's pretty crazy. I guess no one really feels much for the WRs in this class, especially before landing spots are determined. That makes sense. Landing spots are probably more important to these WRs.

This is probably the big drawback to pre-NFL Draft drafts. If a couple of WRs go to good situations, 49ers, Cowboys, etc., then those players will get huge bumps.

If you look/scroll to the right the owner (Mcdoofus) gives an explanation. The 1.04 owner must've been doing backflips.

As figured, 1.6/1.7 is where things get interesting. This draft pretty closely follows DLF rankings. Rojo was higher pre combine while Chubb & Sony have risen.

Moore went 7th.

That is awesome. I finally got into a 12 team league with a bunch of guys who started 20 ish years ago. Looking forward to the fact that they are talking football and trash talking each other all the time cause they know each other so well.

Any draft day trades?

I think you should be happy with Sutton, I'd take him anywhere 5-7 and WR always take time so less landing spot dependent

First 6 picks were RBs and TBH that's out of character for this league. WRs historically have been more valued in Drafts and in trades. I'm a bit surprised at a few picks but nothing I hate. This early draft format forces you to plant your flag which is what we've seen so far.

I kind of feel like you do in your comments on the pick. That said, I think Sutton is as good as any other there. He could be a beast. Landing spot will be key, I think.

I like the Rojo pick at 3. I like his upside and “take it to the house” ability.
Before the NFL draft that’s as good a pick as any at 1.3
