GEDL Early Rookie Draft 2018

You can also discuss things as you see fit in this thread. We just ask that you don't discuss players until they are taken.

Now for my disclaimer: I post this link every year because some people enjoy following what for many is the first real (non mock) rookie draft of the season. We also go very deep. 14 teams and 7 rounds of offensive rookies. Thats 98 picks in total. We do allow vets in the draft but those are few and far between.

This year will be a slow one for me as I don't pick until round 5 but I know the rest of the guys are chomping at the bit to get going.

Chesapeake Bay Barracudas here....excited to have 1.6, 1.7, 1.11, 2.14, a couple 3rds, and some later round stuff! Pretty sure I've got the 2019 1.1 in the bag after a huge tear down that's kicking off my rebuild with this rookie draft. I can't imagine any of the other 13 teams having as long a year as the old 'Cudas, lol.

Wasn't one of the 2018 MFL updates to set all 1:01 picks to auto pick Barkely? Shouldn't you be on 1:02 already?

A thread I like to keep tabs on in the run up to the actual draft.... also no-one ruining this draft by leaking the picks on twitter!!

It is also a chance to increase my ignore list .... Some people just cannot let others get on with their own harmless fun.

Yeah past years of this thread got tons of views and responses which is why I post it. I think people generally like to see a full draft with stakes before they do their own. Obviously landing spots change some stuff but its cool to see where and when these guys land. There's nothing more disheartening than seeing the rookie RB or WR you love and drafted in round 2 go off the board in round 6 of the NFL draft.

I posted the first one 6(?) years ago when somebody saw me mention it and asked me if I'd post a link. It just kind of blew up from there. The whole draft generally takes about 5 days if memory serves me correctly
