As a Vikes fan, Patterson was never more than a gadget guy who needed touches manufactured for him. As a Treadwell owner this makes me happy. One less guy on the depth chart to compete with. I'll probably get made fun of, but I still believe that if he gets his head in the game that he can be a serviceable WR in the NFL and in fantasy.

I think most would agree there's reasonfor concern with Treadwell, but I don't think anyone would make fun of you for still having hope.

Not trying to derail the thread but I think the vikings draft a WR again in this draft class to help out with depth since they lost both CPatt and Charles Johnson, even though both players were just depth players with few actually WR snaps over the past year.

I am trying to derail the thread :) and agree the vikes will draft another WR. Didn't realize they let Johnson walk as well. With only Jarius Wright as real depth they need someone else, probably in the later rounds, as depth. They need OL first (even with the FA signings), but WR will have to be addressed.

Further thread derail:
I think the Vikes might get Mike Floyd real cheap as a depth guy when Floyd realizes no one is going to pay him big $. He'll sign on with his home town and be competition for treadwell. Just a random prediction

I tried to use the news to trade Patterson for 5.01 (devy depleted, superflex, IDP 10 team league) and got rejected. It's a 5 round draft.
He essentially has no value

Gronk, HHenry, Engram
1.09, 2.09, 3.09, 4.09, 5.09

Team 2
10 TM 1/2/3/1/1Flex 6pt all TDs .25 PPR RB, .5 PPR WR, 1 PPR TE

Julio, Nuk, Fuller, Cooks, ARob, Watkins, Cooper, SShepard, CDavis, DJ Chark
Kelce, Olsen, Andrews
1.09, 2.09, 3.09, 4.09, 5.09

Team 3
10 team, 0.5 PPR RBs WRs, 1 PPR TEs, Devy Superflex League
Carr, Goff, Falk
Barkley, Dalvin, Mixon, Michel, Ballage, MDavis, Dixon, Akers*

Could happen ^

Realistically... it could.

I think he gets a shot at RB and I'm buying on the cheap.

Well it's not the worst spot in the world to be. A passing offense with a good QB and an awesome O-line with plenty of weapons to go around. I'm not gonna call him a buy, but if you were already holding or can get for free and have the space, his situation certainly hasn't gotten any worse. What if, and god forbid, but what if Cooper or Crabs were to sustain a season ending injury in preseason and Patterson got the chance at #2 work there? Huge value spike.

Patterson to Patriots

Postby Ioverpayforrookies » Sun Mar 18, 2018 5:23 pm

I've been holding him hoping his freak athleticism would get him back to relevance, does this help?

He's obviously behind Gronk, Cooks, and Edelman for targets but is he fully behind Hogan or does his athletic ability get him on the field?

I like this more than him being in Oakland
Team 1:
10 team, .5 ppr, 30 man roster - 2 QB, 3 RB, 3 WR, 2 TE, 1 W/R Flex
QB: Brees, Cousins,Winston, Foles, Finley
WR: Julio, Hilton, Edelman Woods, Landry, M. Williams, A. Robinson, Harmon, Meyers, Butler
RB: Gurley, D. Cook, Mack Lindsay, Mixon, Hines, Jon. Williams
TE: Hooper, Everett, Eifert, Irv, I. Thomas

Team 2:
10 team, .5 ppr, 45 man roster, 1QB, 3 RB, 5 WR, 2 TE 1 W/R/T flex, 1 SF, 1 DT, 2 DE, 3 LB, 2 CB, 2 S, 1 DEF Flex
QB:Brady, Darnold Goff, Foles, Finley
WR: Godwin, Edelman, Kirk, Hilton, Landry, J. Brown A. Miller, MVS, Cobb, AB, Harmon
RB:Gurley, D. Freeman, A. Jones Sanders, Jon. Williams, L. Miller, Ajayi, K. Hunt
TE:Waller, Rudolph Graham, Fells
DT:Phillips
DE:Campbell, R. Quinnp
LB:Leonard, Deion Jones, Barrett, R. Evans/b]
CB:L. Ryan, Jenkins
S:D. James, Simmonsr

I'm not sure the Pats actually plan on using him as a WR.
