This is only the 2nd year (2017 was the 1st) in which compensatory picks could be traded - the Raiders/Cowboys deal might not have occurred otherwise - as the Cowboys 5th was a compensatory one.

Also, according to the wiki page for the NFL 2018 Draft, the Packers currently have the most picks (12), while the Giants & Eagles each have the least (5)

My guess is that the NYG may move back. The team is too talented to spend a top pick on someone to sit on the bench for 2 or 3 years.

I wouldn't be surprised if Denver, or some other QB needy team (like Arizona), trade for 1.02.

I mean, what does Arizona think their team will achieve in the next few years? They have a bunch of expiring rookie contracts and aging vets. Bradford and Glennon won't lead them to anything. Not in a division with Seattle, San Fran and LA. What they should do is move 1.15, David Johnson (on his last year of his rookie deal) and their 2019 1st for 1.02. Pick a QB and build for the future, hand the helm to him in 2019.

Belichick meets (for 2nd time) with Hurst TE

Barkley does nothing at Pro Day - except announce he is the best draft pick - but then so does D. James

While they’re doing significant homework on quarterbacks, too, the Giants have shown the most interest in Barkley of any team at the top of the draft.- http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/footb ... -1.3885652
---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Barkley’s eventual fate will largely rest on what the Giants decide to do at No. 2. New GM Dave Gettleman, a staunch believer in building up the trenches with hulking linemen he likes to call “hog mollies,” could go one of three ways. There’s Notre Dame’s bruising guard, Quenton Nelson – that’s Gettleman’s hog mollie. There’s the quarterback route – something the Giants have seemed to distance themselves from, instead backing an aging Eli Manning for the foreseeable future."- https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/n ... 441175002/
---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Keenum has been locked into the starting spot for now, but what that means for the Broncos’ plans with the overall No. 5 draft pick is far less clear. One scenario is that the acquisition of Keenum, coupled with a likely early run on the top quarterbacks in the draft could leave the Broncos tempted to grab a blue-chip, non-quarterback prospect and wait until later in the draft to add a quarterback.

"The “Big Four” group of quarterback prospects in this year’s draft — Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield — have bathed in attention during the build-up to the draft. But there’s a fairly deep second wave of players at the position. Here is a look at three players who might pique the Broncos’ interest if Denver waits until later in the draft to snag a quarterback."
